Whenever I try to add width it displays error 'package not found', how do I know which package is missing and how can I add that package? PLEASE help me out..

If I am wrong please correct me. I guess the the command {\thepage\} used by you like I mentioned is wrong. The command should be {\thepage}. An extra back slash was used.

I am using texmaker. and i am having problem in table of contens page numbering. while i give the command \thispagestyle{empty} it only deletes page number of one page of table of contents. but i have two pages of table of contents. i want to delete page numbers on both pages. help please.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge!! I saw all the videos and immediately was able to start my thesis document! Amazing!! I would like to ask you about a problem I'm having with one of my chapters. It starts on the right page of the book (page 3 and I know this because it does not contain the heading) but then all the sections are on the next page, on page 4, and the margins are not respected. The this is that if I take out the last four sections everything goes back to normal, chapter starts on page 3 and margins are ok. Do you have any idea why this may be happening? I have 9 chapters total and this only happens to one of them! Thanks again for the tutorials!!

I am trying to make some educational videos myself (phys/chem stuff) and I think using a tool like yours will be useful. Thanks a lot~
This was shot on my mac running OS X. So the tools I used were: QuickTime to do the screen capture and voice capture, and Final Cut Pro X to edit the video.

At minute 6:55, shouldn't be {\thepage} ? If I put the final backslash It gives me an error
you have to put the spaces after "{" and before "}". Just like in the video { \thepage\ }

how to add left side margin, right side margin in report format in latex?. I want to left margin as 2.5cm , right side margin as 2cm
