    He is not much older than I am, but I feel my heart exclaiming “hi Dadddd!” whenever he posts a new video.
    Not only what he teaches but the personalities showed through his voice, body language and words really soothed my life time anger toward my dad and my daughter’s dad, gave me some trust and some hope.

    Tip: bananas can be frozen when browning. The frozen banana can be mashed and used in the banana bread.
    Freezing helps preserve the fruit longer. Makes great smoothies and a cool dessert, too.
    Tasty dessert: a frozen banana on a plate. Squeeze a little liquid chocolate. I use organic that’s a little thicker. Sprinkle walnuts on top. Eat.
    PS- make certain to unskin fruit before freeze. Freezer bags are great for storage. Lay them side by side and freeze flat. Don’t dice because they’ll clump together. Frozen long side by size works great.

      @@adamobrien6380 he is unemployed and sometimes he use to come home drunk and hit me for no reason and use to say that he has the right to hit me . My past childhood was hell but I'll turn 16 and I m thinking to leave my parents house to pursue my college as I m full with my scholarship that I received for ace performance in exams as I m a book worm . I'll turn 17 this August . I have decided after reaching College I will never turn back what I was , a lonely child abused by his father with no friends cause he doesn't know how to communicate with people.

    • @adamobrien6380
      @adamobrien6380 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@keneatstheworld I am so sorry that you went through that. No child deserves to go through that, and no father has a right to hit their children. I'm a father myself now, and the thought of your father doing that to you makes my blood boil.
      It sounds like you're a good student, and with a home situation like yours, that is no small accomplishment. I'm proud of you. Is there a teacher at school that you're close with? Physical abuse of a child is a serious matter, and my advice would be to tell an adult that you trust outside of your family. There is often no better candidate than a trusted teacher or guidance counselor. They will look out for your best interests.
      Unfortunately for your father, you're almost an adult and the damage he's done to your relationship is likely irreversible unless he really puts the work in to change immediately and you have a forgiving heart. even if he does everything right, it can still take a long time to heal from that. The most important thing is that if you decide to move on from your parents entirely, you need to realize that it is a perfectly ok and valid decision also. You get to set your own boundaries and you owe them nothing.
      If you decide to have children someday, learn from your parents mistakes, don't repeat them.
      The great thing about the internet is that it's easy to find supportive communities. If you use reddit, try
      r/dadforaminute. Planty of father figures there that could give you advice and support.
      Proud of you buddy, keep up the good work
      Love,
      a dad

    Pro tip: If your bananas aren't yet brown enough, stick them whole in the oven at 300F for about 15-30 minutes. Make sure to put them on a baking sheet to catch the juices that will leak out. Take them out when they're brown or, better yet, black.

    Just made banana bread over the weekend with my great grandmas recipe. Gave some to my grandma. I don’t put nuts in it though, my family doesn’t like it with nuts.
