The contrast between the gold numbers and the purple background is amazing!Not sure gold leaf in the resin worked that well though.
Thank you for sharing your creation process. Would a sand paper be sufficient to get the excess resin off or is just easier using the exacto knife?
You could use regular sand paper, but I’d recommend a very fine grit. You don’t want to put too many scratches into the surface and potentially sand off a number!

Any suggestions for those of us who don't have access to a pressure pot?
Mix your components (silicone and resin) slowly and carefully, and pour as slow as possible. Inevitably you will get bubbles without a pressure pot or vacuum chamber, but it’s possible to get some good outcomes without!
Ultimately, I recommend saving up for a pressure pot as in the long run the money you spent there will be saved on resin purchased due to failed castings.

It drove me crazy as well. I’ve since redesigned the whole set (new font, shapes, etc.) and was much more attentive when sanding the masters so it’s no longer an issue!
