Hunting with slingshot is illegal here, so I can only guess how good this is in hunting.

There is good and bad narrow pinch grip frames and this is one of the good ones.

I used to make them with a wider 65mm grip, but unfortunately people were telling me they were too wide ... I guess its personal preference.

Slingshot are like summer in Finland. When its winter time, everyone says I hope summer and warm weather comes soon and when it finally happens, why it is so HOT. It is difficult satisfy everyones needs when we all have our personal preferences.
H42 is much better frame in my hands than Scout Champ 😊.
Hi, Sorry to jump on this convo, I hope you don't mind, but just ordered the Colt 15M HDPE I think it's called, what's your opinion on that one as compared to others that you sell @HegartySlings
I've just ordered that one and 12 mm Steel balls. Would I be better getting my next lot as 11 mm Steel and 10 mm lead. I remember Catty Shack saying 12 mm Steel and 11 mm lead the shot precision starts to go down with slingshots but I saw that after I bought ammo... The sling looks really good though. What's your views on, say, a 40 yard shot on something if it's to take it out straight away... Would I be better with 10 mm Lead or 11 mm Steel and is 12 mm a little too heavy?
Did you shorten those bands or use them as you found them when it arrived?cheers mate...by the way just ordered the( (companion) by Nick Hegarty....do you know it?
Nothing wrong with Nick's bands, but those were too heavy with 8mm steel so i made my own.
Just watched, how Companion looks. Nick makes quality frames and Companion is no exception 👍
Ok so just got the Slingshot.. very nice fits my hand perfect...and with 100 mm fork width i can get on target quick.. which is good for hunting.,
