Skateparks aren't just for youngsters, either. I'm 67, and just discovered quad-skating in local skateparks, and I LOVE it. Will I be doing flips and grinds like the people in videos? I doubt it. But I LOVE ramps, and after an afternoon of rolling up and down ramps I come home feeling better, with more suppleness and none of the after-skate soreness I usually get after street-skating. Skateparks are becoming my physical therapy!

I'm just getting into quad skating and this documentry has super inspired me to just get out there in skate parks. where I live, there is roller derby, but I don't know of any groups that skate quad in our very small skate parks. Hopefully someone will join me here
I live in Barbados and I've only started skating for a few months (first tried it when I went to England a few years ago and loved it. I've always wanted to skate but my parents were never too keen on it), looking for places (and time) to practice. You know how it is with outdoor skating. We used to have a rink but that was like even before I was born lol. Skating is slowly but surely reviving here. Skateboarding is still at the top and people are telling me I should get roller blades. NO! I love my quads :)
it’s amazing how many of these skaters have now been at the center of scandals, allegations, etc. since this documentary was made. regardless of that, i still think quad skating is an amazing, unique sport. issues and problematic actions by popular figures have happened in basically all communities, and that doesn’t tarnish them - just means more work needs to be done as we try to progress to a safe, inclusive experience for all within this community (and others). that said, i quite like this documentary and it’s not the fault of its creator(s) that issues have arisen with some of the skaters included.

There are zero girls here who rollerskate, in the parks there are only guys. It motivates me to inspire other girls to go rollerskating. I hope to grow a group of women.
