i love how they dont edit out when they fall. It motivates me knowing that skaters this good can fall and still get back up and have fun! Otherwise it was a very entertaining video! :) you guys are awesome!!!
Yes,i have roller skates and im so scare of fall and hurt mi self,that i stop running them,but when i see the video i take mi roller skates and think "If i fall i get up,just like the video"

Slay I live in Puerto Rico and the only friend that roller skate with me is now in U.S., i try to get my other friends in roller skate but they dont like it because they dont know how awesome this make you fell, i hope one day ill find friends that will love skating like i do.

This is the girl empowerment I needed today!
Why is it girl empowerment? It's a couple of friends having fun. When guys get together and have fun is it Man empowerment? smh.
It's empowerment because usually girls having fun are depicted as relaxing, drinking, shopping and such, and often girls are shown as being uber competitive with each other. Also, most street performers are guys. You hardly get to see girls doing a slightly edgy/sporty/cool activity and having fun with it in a group. It's empowering to see such talented women.
damn y'all took this to another level. I watched this video on a day when I was feeling down about women in my life and it was uplifting to see women just relaxing and having fun doing something they love. my God I wasn't trying to be analytical or I wasn't trying to critically read into this at all!
read my last comment. I feel that you took what I said way out of context. guys can most definitely be empowered but that's a separate discussion. again, all I was saying was something I felt that was specific to me that day. I wasn't trying to read too much into this video whatsoever.
I wasn't reading into it. I was just explaining to Lazy Daze why this video could possibly be empowering for women in general. It is just about a bunch of girls having fun.

Came across this video this time last year. The pure freedom and camaraderie and confidence made me buy my own pair of skates! I'm nowhere near this good yet and I haven't convinced my friends to buy their own, but hopefully one day I'll find a group like this and feel this free on my own skates :^) I just need to stop being so afraid of falling (took a bad one on a hill last summer) so I can actually improve
Selia you can do it! Planet Rollerskate has good tutorials on here even one on how to fall. ♥
Embrace the fall. Expect it. Minimize damage and do it correctly! That being said I did bruise my head a little working out w skates indoors in small space.

I bought speed skates. 3 sets of wheels. I'm way more of a rink skater. Got a set of wheels for concrete and I hate them. I want to use my bodyweight to t stop. I only weigh 125lbs. If I were a thicc heavy guy it would be easy to stop. I have the China Reds bearings for all my wheels.they They are super fast. Got an extra set of bearings when Corona hit.
Thank you for making this video. I discovered it about 3 years ago. I was at a point in my life where I needed a drastic change, decided I needed to get a divorce, and began the journey and gift of being able to find myself. This specific video and song had a significant impact. It's pure FREEDOM. Thank you.

Oh my god, I saw this video before it was uploaded on TH-cam a long time ago, and I've met Bambi Bloodlust! AKA Katie Baird. She plays roller derby. She's a great skater but I had no idea that she was in this! She's the one at 2:10 I believe, sitting upright.

1:34 LMAO. I know good and well if I was skating like that I would be wearing a helmet and need pads safety first. ik they're probably pros at skating but would they really want to get bruised up on their legs wearing those shorts or on their faces. It looks fun though.
