Exactly. Why we opt for insurance policy so that our savings won't go wasted when we need them at most crucial time of our life if diagnosed with any type of sickness. I am pretty disappointed when a sales person who should understand their customer needs and requirements, gets upset when i tell them my concerns as a premium payer and policy holder. Instead of providing solution, the sales person tells me you can never get such policy any where from any insurance company. I want to see which company offers you or accept your policy. The insurance company can decide not to renew your policy. If the agent tells you, this cannot cover, that cannot cover, but only premium is high. My goodness, anyone here if you are in my position would you decide to sign up a policy with this person or the company. That shows how inexperience they are in their product knowledge. Are we buying a policy to make the insurance company rich or to protect outselves? I just don't understand.
It is a weak idea that u surrender a policy. The surrender value is almost the same as the withdrawable amount. There is no guarantee that if u get approved the next time u get an insurance aside from the fact that the premium is then higher. I would rather advise a client to not surrender but withdraw a portion of the funds. Bawi n lng pag ok n ulit ang market or horizon. Maraming paraan to maintain a policy or insurance.
agree din ako dont surrender iwan lang sa fund ung value ng premium for a yr.. esp pandemic ngaun kahig di k lumabas ng bahay pede ka magkacovid.. un ang ganda sa vul bsta my fund iwan mo lang..
If someone sells you a proton saga for the price of BMW would you buy? If someone tells you this Iphone worth RM5k but only limited apps can be used. Most of the functions are disabled. But it is the best product in the market which no one else offers. Would you buy such a product??
Agreed sa opinion to get the FV first then surrender the policy, at least in this case. You can always get another policy pag okay na. But then again, depende sa premium nung case, maybe get a portion of the FV then leave the rest para mabayaran niya premium. At the least kung may mangyari in the next few months, covered pa rin siya.
Hi mga sir tanong ko lng po kung ano mas mgandang stocks for 15-20 yrs ung may steady 10% dividend yield o dividend growth stocks na may yield as of the moment na 5.5% at my annualized growth na 10.5%. They’re both financially healthy
If I were you po pag aralan nyo po ang pagiging trader sa stock market mas malaki ang ROI yun nga lang malaki din ang risk dahil volatile ang stock market, depende po yun sa risk appetite nyo, kaya pag aralan nyo po muna bago mag invest sa stock market mas mlaki pa sa 10% per annum ang pwde nyong kitain 😊. -newbie stock market trader here hehe
hi! there is none. please understand that business and economic conditions as well as prices do change so dividend yields cannot be steady in just a figure. moreso, if coupled with your other filters of annualized growth of 10.5%. thanks!
Ok po sir nasubukan ko po mgswing trade pero for me mas ok ang longterm investing para sakin kasi may work po ako tsaka marami namang dividend aristocrats dto sa North America so tumataas dividends nila yearly and mababa payout ratio nila. And habol ko po kasi ung dividend income bonus nalang ung appreciation. At as of now My portfolio is up almost 20%. Satisfied naman po.
is it possible naman din ba ung fund value lang ang kukunin but still keep the policy, kasi earnings mo na ung fund value, siguro naman, makakahanap nang way para maka bayad sa monthly or quarterly premiums..pwede ba un?
Hi TJ you can do that through a partial withdrawal. Though, it is best to ask your insurance adviser what's the best option for your VUL policy. Thanks!
Yes, it is a good investment, but whether it is good for you is another matter altogether. For that we would have to know your financial goals, risk appetite and resources. We can do that thru our Financial Consultation Services. Kindly visit our website, wealtharki.com for more info. Thanks!
Just my 2 cent, kung walang grouplife ung client at kailangan talaga ng funds for daily expenses pwde namn e surrender ung fund value then kuha sya ng term since mura lang nmn ang term insurance 400 pesos per month meron kna usually 500k of coverage, although mababa ang probability it is still a probability, kht 0.1% pa yan it can still happen. 😁
Probability isn’t the same as the possibility. I agree that he can get term insurance but he/she has to get it once his/her income stream becomes stable. Not when he/she is still struggling to meet daily expenses.

if i had to bet, I'd wager the person who advised to keep the insurance over emergency fund is an insurance agent😬
