I smoked a hog leg with Michael Graves on " the strip" in Knoxville TN in 1998. Jerry gave me a ricola cough drop that I still have to this day. one of my prize possessions. Doyle said they were friends. Graves notoriously skipped practices often, missed shows, and even missed a video shoot with a famous horror director. He probably likes him as a person but does not want to get involved with him in the industry again.

I've seen Graves several times here - and have read what Michale said to Jerry and it was he would like to (tour). I think ALL OF US would LOVE to see a After Glen Reunion - and there is really reason for it not to happen. We all know Glen is not the best person to work with - I know Doyle loves touring - he's out there all the time. I'll see him a few days - fuckin yes! He's got a few great albums - However..there's a good market for the Graves era stuff - you guys are passing up an opportunity. Just give us fans what we'd want. Few dates is all we ask

Seen the Misfits seven times between American Psycho and Famous Monsters tour. H2o was a opening band as Doyle mentioned about being vegan and GWAR opened twice. I remember the first time at the middle East club we had no idea who was in the Misfits at the time. We were so excited to see who was gonna walk out on that stage. Having Jerry and Doyle running the ship was intense. Great times and even better shows. Hope they do a tour with Glenn. Fiends forever!
Great interview. Doyle had always been approachable, great guy. And we're on the same page with the vegetarian thing, so bonus! Learned something new. I knew there weren't going to be any more reunion shows, Danzig said the exact same thing. It's all just Jerry running his mouth, wishful thinking, because the Jerry-led "Misfits" sucks ass. Badly. Only is just a shitty songwriter. When I started seeing film titles as the track titles (ie Friday The 13th, etc), I knew he had officially jumped the shark and there was no hope. Only is just nothing without the Misfits brand, that's why he kept suing for it... Nobody gives a shit about a would-be Jerry Only Band. Let's put it this way. Doyle is Only's brother... And Doyle couldn't even stand being in the band with him so he left! Any talk about more shows is just Only doing wishful thinking. Someone threw enough money at the original members to the point that they finally agreed to do a few shows, they were offered too much money to turn it down... But that's it, Jerry. I watched several of these interviews with Doyle and it would do the interviewer some good if they knew some history on him first instead of just asking generic bullshit questions.
