Someone should do an AMV of Super Saiyan Goku vs. Frieza to this, blend the old with the Z era. Side note: Still annoyed at Toriyama over the Bulma-Vegeta pairing, since while he did truly make something of it later on it originally only really happened because he needed someone to have Vegeta's kid and he forgot Lunch existed.
DB and DBZ adapt the original manga, and they're finished since the 90s. DB Super takes place during a time skip before the end of the original manga. The anime ended after a bunch of story arcs, but the manga went on and is still ongoing, and the newest movies take place around these arcs.
