I'm currently an early years practitioner(work in a nursery) and have 800+ hrs experience in early years settings and childcare. I worked as a nanny for 9 months.

Just had my interview for one of the Universities I had chosen! Thanks for your advice. It's extremely useful and calmed me down about the whole process.

I just had an open day at Surrey and so far it’s my first choice Uni for Paramedic Science - I honestly loved the look of it there and all the high tech equipment they have!x
I planned so much! I had so many notes 😂 you seem so lovely and I can’t wait to watch your journey whilst hopefully going on mine! I love this unscripted style, your personality really shines! I wish I had all of this advice before, it would have all been so useful x
What sort of things should you say if they ask “tell me about yourself”? There’s so much to tell but I’m not sure which parts of it they’re wanting to hear!
I don't know what's the perfect response I'm definitely not an expert, but I sort of had a bit of a list of: where you're from, where you are trying to get to (so like career ambitions), and maybe what motivates you/what you are passionate about? This is only a suggestion but I think that would be a good start ☺️

In regards to documents for GCSE’s, qualifications etc - I’ve moved near 20 times in my life and lost them and definitely cannot afford to replace them. Will this be an issue? Currently studying Health and Health Sciences level 3 Diploma hoping to study paramedic science next September (I’ll be 24 by then)
Hi Helena, I can't say for sure but I think if you're studying a diploma they shouldn't have too much a problem if your other documents are missing ❤️ I would definitely get in touch with the unis you're applying too and explain your situation and ask them just to be crystal clear, my fingers are crossed for you xxx

Ambulance crews carry zoll monitors, and they're a a little heavy but not to the point where you have to really work to carry them if that makes sense :)

Hey, I don't know for sure but every university I've looked at asks for an interview if you're successful with your personal statement xx And yeah you should be, some Uni's might ask for a science but not all of them, and I think the experience in your personal statement and how you come across in the interview matters more x

I applied to 5 university’s 2 days ago and already have 3 interviews for feb, i’m so nervous as i’ve never done an interview before🤞🏼

Thank you! And yes I think they do have AEDs in the ambulances and carry them out when they need them? Not entirely sure though ☺️
