Mark Brenner bro just to shed some light...lol...I'm a fuel tanker driver delivering to gas stations and I just want to fill you in on that it doesn't actually matter where you get fuel from 87, 89, 91, DSL...it's all the same they are batched up with very minimal additives. I too fill up at the closest most cheap stations either Costco or Arco or mom&pop👍
@TIG Welding Creations yea I'm not talking about running different fuel grades for different reasons because you're programming something that is manufactured to run on it, hence "tuning", this Mark dude hasn't done that I was only shedding some light as I said...and P.S. I load and deliver it all and trust me the only thing different for each brand is they get their own additives and it's a very small amount. I've seen people in lifted tuned trucks and race cars on their trailers filling everything up at the cheapest stations both Prem and E85. So, back to the topic at hand for his application. Mark Brenner thank you for the video. I myself have a 2022 Toyota Tundra and like the sound of this exhaust compared to the other ones out there. I came from a 2016 Tundra with a Borla exhaust and though the sound can’t be duplicated this magnaflow sounds good to me. Don’t worry about the negative comments from the people with v8’s. I know I like my 22 better then my 16 Tundra. Keep up the good work with the videos to show us what’s available and how it looks/sounds.
@@CompleatedMagic Because that is the lifespan of a turbo, any turbo, manufacturers have been trying for years to improve on longevity, but the general consensus is the average lifespan of the impeller bearings of a turbo is 100k miles.
@@KevinHuff23 I just don’t see it. Ask the dealers, these Japanese are stubborn as hell, they wouldn’t have switched from the V8 to the twin turbo if it would affect what Toyota is known for. Reliability. That’s all Toyotas brand is. I just don’t see it happening. If the turbos do go out… something tells me they’ll have something in place to make sure everyone is taken care of.

sounds really good. I did a Flowmaster 40 series on my colorado and it's nice being a lil louder but gets to be a bit much at times. magnaflow might be a new option for a v6

Try out the Carven exhaust system for this truck. American Made and sounds amazing. I like magnaflow but this sounds so close to stock, what did you really buy? I went Carven on mine

Sounds cool, almost sounds like a rice rocket but that’s typical for v6. But it’s clean and the trucks beautiful. I bought a 2021 v8 and it has the flow master outlaw bolt on and it’s sooo load. Weird you couldn’t go duals , mine came with a drop down bracket and a separate tube to go duals out the back.

For those considering same exhaust, but can’t hear it first hand, would you take some decibel readings? If so, I could closely recreate noise level from interior. Free apps are within 1 db accuracy. Then, report back what you’ve found. Personally, I want to know how many db with windows up at 65mph. Then, downshift 1 gear (to simulate passing or towing), and take a reading. What steady RPM range creates most drone noise? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark, need your opinion please. Would you get a TRD PRO or a Platinum and then upgrade it with lifts, wheels, tires, etc... I have deposits on both models (hybrids) at 2 different dealerships, and both notified me that the vehicles are in transit arriving at the same time. I do like the automatic running boards, HUD, ambient lighting, real leather, heated and ventilated back seats, etc. on the platinum and these are not options on the TRD PRO.
Pretty sure other may have mentioned it, but if the mic you were using on your camera has a 3.5mm jack you can def. get an adapter from Amazon for cheap...I have several.

Only way to make this sound good is going catless with a true dual exhaust. Ive heard one first hand and it sounds very deep and aggressive. It was tuned and flex fuel. It was pushing about 600whp. But taking off the cats on these new trucks causes issues. I was almost tempted doing that to my 2024 but if anything I'll just get a true dual catback and wait till things get fixed or worked out on tuning.
Calm down ppl, soon gm is going to make the same transition. They’ve already phased out the 4.3 v6 in favor of the 2.7 turbo and moved down to a 6 diesel. And if that’s not enough to wrap your head around ev’s are going yo be the norm in maybe the next 10 years.

1db is 33% of double. So, that's quite the variable.
Had a car come into the shop a few weeks ago that sounded exactly the same, it was a Sienna with a rusted out, broken muffler.
