    These daily posts are like a crash course in functional anatomy and PT. I have learned a ton of useful and interesting stuff from these videos. Thanks so much for this "project".

    A young Boz there! Classic Kstarr vid. Revisiting all these lately along with Supple Leopard. He’s still the man.

    Dude, you are awesome & very informative! I've been using a lot of the stuff that I have learned from to help out with my clients that have mobility issues. Not too mention, every new post you make seems to coincide with issues that I am having with my body. Anyway, thanks for doing what you do & keep the awesome knowledge coming!

    Motivated by weaknesses in some yoga poses and some back pain, I was doing online searches for more ab exercises a few years back and kept hearing about core work. Searching deeper was quite a revelation. "I have what's? Where?"
    Thanks for this.

    TH-cam algo randomly brought me here 14y later. I haven't seen Kelly's face in forever, such a random video to feed me. But I liked it.

    If I'm not mistaken, this stretch alone is going to fix pretty much every single mobility issue I have. Thanks again :D

    Would't APT effect this negatively? One cue I like to give for all of these kinds of stretches is to "kick" the pelvis forward or rotate it up WITHOUT moving your hips forward. You can lean/lunge forward to elongate the psaos, but once in that position you want to kick the pelvis back into alignment with your back. To advance this even further, elevate your rear foot. This can really be an all in one package with both your iliacus and psoas involved.

    I used to get these horrible psoas pains on my left. Doc, gave me a whole bunch of crap and eventually it healed from no more squatting. It was definitely caused by man belly squats, I knew it was squats. - I just hurt myself again, any tips on psoas pain besides rest, compression, ice, etc... Those stretched hurt like hell. If I go into handstand and I bend to bridge oh hell it hurts.

    Thanks for all the videos....do you have any suggestions for psoas stretches that cater specifically to those with hip impingements? Thanks!

    kelly, what about a torn labrum in the hip. Is it something I just endure until I get it shaved off. Any exercises I can do? Mini bands, bridges etc. Maybe a good mobility wod vid...

    How do you have no doorframes? Is that even possible?

  • @GratitudeAttitude9
    @GratitudeAttitude9 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you show us what this stretch looks like in a door frame? Most people don't have poles in their home. ;) Thanks!

      its not hard to take a min out and figure it out. just sayin.

      Thanks, Max! I appreciate the comment. I however, am trying to offer a suggestion. Wouldn't it be better to demonstrate something like this stretch with a readily available object like a door frame, other than a stripper pole? More people have door frames I'm thinking.

    in my ten.minute squat test I noticed I'm restricted and I Can Only Hold the bottom position on the balls of my feet and my heels up but my feet are in a neutral position. is this a tight heel cord problem or is this a hip Mobility problem problem thank you

    this stretch was super helpful for me, like many of your videos but the face skinning comment etc. might be a wee bit off putting to some people.....its why i didn't share this video with everyone i know that battles chronically tight hips.

    When talking about anatomical dissection, this should be done with complete reverence and not humor. That "cadaver" was a human life. You have good info and I am grateful for it but those intro comments were a serious turn off.
