@@handywithshovels the front foot almost ollies to kickstart the grind makes perfect sense. my goal is bs slappy salad nosegrab but i take whatever it gives me rn. I subbed to chan
Thanks, the front foot position makes sense. I did a few earlier today, but the ones I messed up were when my feet were too far over the bolts, making my front foot slide off. Will try keeping it farther back
Been working on these for couple days. The jut part with the back trucks is getting better day by day other than that I can slash pretty good with my front trucks and ride away.
I been skating off and on my whole life and now I’m old and fat I wanted to finally learn slappys and I only grind frontside. Witch way was easier for you to learn? Also what wheels are you running they look sick
JayLove tattoo And Design I think for backside is easier to learn as it seems backside is typically the direction lots of people, myself included, find more “natural.” If you already know you are more comfortable doing turns frontside, nothing saying you couldn’t or shouldn’t learn frontside slappies first! I have a tip vid for those, so maybe take a look if you haven’t already. Have fun and trash your trucks! 🔥👍
Regarding the wheels:they are Formula 4 Spitfire Conical Fulls. They are a bit older now, but I bet they still make the swirl color scheme in some fashion.
Love this trick, awesome Descendants board too! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My favorite was the chunks of paint flying! Good stuff.
The front foot further back is so helpful
I recognize it is contrary to how some people suggest, but it is what works for me. Glad you find it valuable, also

Love the Milo goes to college grip
Very helpful! I'm having trouble getting my back axle up there.
I did a revised bs slappy tip. Check that out, too, and it may be additionally helpful
Thanks for the kind words

Thanks. I got front side, but have never landed a back side slappy. Gonna try the scoop part.
1 year later I'm back here. Still haven't got these consistent.

handywithshovels sick man thanks for the reply and I’ll be looking forward to future videos
Fs is a lot easier. I learned bs first but when I learned fs I couldn’t go back
Eli King nice dude I think I will try to learn FS first because when I do get up on the grind it will feel natural
