you can play with others who don't have vr

Yes you can play with your friends without vr, but i recommend every one installing the mod. Then everyone can see you move your head and arms

Think of the Rolling Giant like a slower coilhead that has an acceleration mechanic and intermittently breaks weeping angel law. Its default AI is set to randomly move while looking, allowing it to move freely when not in LoS, but is gets limited movement while in LoS. Most players don't mess with configs it seems so it mostly stays on that AI, but there's 3 other AI types, two of which encourage you to NOT see it, can't explain more since I'm still figuring those out myself, and also the coilhead AI. Giants may only have 1 AI type per map, however, the host may, at any time, choose to switch its AI type with the numpads... which is a hilariously cruel thing to do if you're a spectator or using helmet cameras.
