Oh gosh yeah, my iPad has been such a game changer for my art. I used to drag my laptop and tablet everywhere in high school, so my first paycheck from my side job just had to be the designated iPad fund. 10/10 highly recommend for sure if one can afford it!

I'm actually surprised Minori hasn't used a "chip", like you can use for shopping trolleys, for her gacha machines 🤔
There are super easy to make: Either make them out of wood (very basic fretwork) or 3D print them (that was actually our beginner project at school).
Minori! If the yarn is acrylic, there is actually a way to make it softer! After crocheting a project with acrylic (hat, sweater socks, etc) you could pop it in rhe washer and dryer and it will come out soft! You could also block it too! Theres a lot of helpful Tutorials on how to do it!
I've been burnt out on art for like 2 years now, only recently am I starting to tell myself that its okay that im not drawing, even if i do start to lose people's interest on social media. Everything you said is totally true! The more pressure you put on yourself, the less fun art is going to feel! I find that switching around hobbies and crafts like you have really helps to refresh my mind

Honestly the gatcha stuff is pretty fun. With drawing or creating, it gives a minute element of surprise which is a great way of broadening your horizons past the styles you may usually go for. My recent drawing endeavors...well they were definitely different, to say the least since I'm in an experimenting phase and really trying to figure out where my personal style falls into, but it still doesn't change the fact that I abhor doing lineart in ibispaint, but I digress. I am glad you're taking time away from constantly drawing, though. Quick doodles and practices are great for bits of daily stuff, but time consuming drawings every day can be a sure-fire way to burn yourself out.
On another super unrelated note, I wish I had that much room for manga, and I love the setup! My shelf is nearly full since I only have three of my six shelves dedicated to manga! The others are full of my art books, novels and picture books that are super special to me.

Thank you so much for advice on handling on art block and burnout. I often feel guilty of not making art for myself. I mostly draw for my art classes. I'm trying my best to change this mindset and make art that is fun for my art classes and not think about perfection and what other people think. Just experiment and have fun in the art process and take a break in art 👍Thank you and i love your art, Minori, you r so sweet and i love how you use copic markers ❤

If you want to try a cardigan pattern, there are so many tutorials on a granny hexagon cardigan. They’re super simple and fairly quick. They’re also incredibly comfortable ☺️
I think if you want to turn off the sound, you can pull off the speaker cable white socket on the board, make sure you take a picture and pull out the electricity first before you done this, you can put it back the cable to the socket on if you want the sound back in case you forgot where you should put it back on you can see the picture you have take before.
im currently very, very sick. im in my bed and have been feeling nauseous. i have the stomach bug, which is an awful sickness. but seeing you draw and have fun always cheers me up. you help distract me from my pain. you are an amazing person, minori!!

Procreate is pretty good for iPad drawing. It also has a 3D painting tool if you ever want to try your hand at painting 3D models. Big downside is that it doesn’t have line width adjustment built in like CSP, but you can always download and easily customize brushes to suit your needs.

I have to say. Your idea for a gotcha type drawing challenge was an amazing idea. I might try something similar except with fursonas. I haven’t drawn them in awhile and might be fun to do some other ideas from friends or people on my streams when I do get back to streaming stuff.

I am in the Gacha community (personally I use Gacha because I have issues related to energy so even though I can draw it takes up too much energy that I’d rather save for other things) and seeing creators not hate on our community is great, even we tend to focus on the negative side but when you look at the majority it’s great, there are actually a few Gacha series that are animated and just use Gacha puppets (example A Memories Revipe by SiegeYT, The Music Freaks by RozyClosy, and Unbounded by NotZoey) and those are so cool! Also I love your art :D

Hi! The drawings were so cute, and the last one was a totally different vibe which was unexpected, and it still looked great in your style! The featured channel was a good recommendation, definitely subbing. My channel is about art and some animations occasionally.
