Was reading an article on surface fishing the other day regarding air pressure.Apparently around 1020 millibars and above the carp are more inclined to be near the surface as being on the deck puts pressure on their swim bladders.So food for thought.I downloaded a barometer app on my phone and I will always have a bread rod in my car next spring onward as an extra option if it's not working out on the deck for me.I rigged up a bread bomb yesterday and I'm sure it will sort out the problems I've had in the past of keeping bread on the hook.I look forward to some surface fishing next summer after years of method feeder and float fishing on the bottom.Great video,thank you.
Sorry if this is a bit of a thick question but my excuse is that aged 71 have just started fishing. I brought the small size which was my first mistake, and I also attached a bubble float am I doing it wrong. Needless to say, you now have another Sub.

If you don't wet it first does it float and for how long? I find bread so frustrating, you watch and watch and when the fish takes your bit of bread you find your hook isn't attached to it anymore lol
Hello mate I find with the Nash bread bomb that the bread will always stay with the hook. I get the bread a little bit wet before putting it out so it is a bit heavier. And it will expand around the bread bomb. 👍🎣
@@carperslife8771 because i using by fox curve Shank hook or by carp'us Predator hook and they take bait in mouth swimming away and let bread out every time i dont know what it's wrong.. But thank you for answer :)

What about steaming the bomb before use to loosen it up
Ones you have used it a couple of times it does loosen up a bit and is easy to use. 👍🎣
So mainline straight through to breadbomb no clips lead nothing just straight through

Any hook will be ok the claw is just the hook I prefer to use. 👍🎣
