Fished there a long time ago before it was built up it was a hard water for carp in those days I don’t know if it’s still that way but there you go. Does mr Jackson still run it and how much does a ticket cost on there.

I went there this year, i fished every day and total i had on bottom baits 20mm tigernut boilies, in 4 days i had 21 x 20 plus commons and mirrors, and a ghost, a 34lb 2oz, 31lb 6oz both mirrors and about 11 x inbetween 9 and 15lbers brilliant

Was reading an article on surface fishing the other day regarding air pressure.Apparently around 1020 millibars and above the carp are more inclined to be near the surface as being on the deck puts pressure on their swim bladders.So food for thought.I downloaded a barometer app on my phone and I will always have a bread rod in my car next spring onward as an extra option if it's not working out on the deck for me.I rigged up a bread bomb yesterday and I'm sure it will sort out the problems I've had in the past of keeping bread on the hook.I look forward to some surface fishing next summer after years of method feeder and float fishing on the bottom.Great video,thank you.

I used a bread bomb at CP but on a bolt rig and work a treat. Those birds are the bloody worst I’ve seen. Literally wait for you to cast in!!!

I always take a foot or two off after leading to put spod on cos the inswing of the lead. Bit sad but that's me!! I also make the casting spot not right at the edge so I can walk forward a step if want to spread the spods out. Keep em coming great vids.

If you don't wet it first does it float and for how long? I find bread so frustrating, you watch and watch and when the fish takes your bit of bread you find your hook isn't attached to it anymore lol
