Still part of the foundation of the conveyor belt. There are similar footings just north of the Sundial Bridge in the SR at Turtle Bay. All part of this conveyer belt line.

Beautiful water ironic its some of the most polluted in the US, pink slime iron mt super fund site and just the water quality reports from at shasta dam right where u were. They can only say it's drinkable by saying the contaminants are "unknown"
Im a little curious about the outflowsof the dam. Seams into the bushes or higher then it should be in this drought . Ive seen other videos at oroville dam that the river is almost at flood stage below the dam . . The officials say it for the fish. I dont think so. A lot of the lakes down in so cal that get there water from the aqueduct are up to 80 percent full right now. Somthing not right
Watch the movie Chinatown... Artificial drought created for the oligarchs to buy up land on the cheap. Research primary water, or 'the waters below' as referred to in scripture. Lack is an illusion. God is abundance.
They release a lot of water during the summer regardless of whether there is a drought or not. Mainly, because these are the months when water demand is the greatest. Although, there are other ecological reasons that will cause them to release water, basically, until there is no more water to release. The "water oligarchy" actually begins a couple hundred miles to the south....
The water level can fluctuate almost 10 feet between Shasta and Keswick. The Bureau of Reclamation releases water from the Power Plant out the turbines into the river and then releases it again at Keswick, so depending on the outflow the river in that area can change drastically throughout the day. There are huge rocks just lurking below the water so it's important to only go out with someone who is familiar with the course.
@@jeremytuggle6424 I've done it before and it was great. I'd like to take the rest of the family on it as well. We've been over to the Bernie Falls area and it was epic. Looks like there are fires in that area now though. We also do some skiing on Mt Shasta, sure hope all that area is spared.
Thanks for the ride along! Absolutely stunning view!
Beautiful River and Dam.
Thanks for sharing this
Nice
Very cool Jeremy. Glad you could take your family out with you. All the best to the family and friends from your utube friends.
Very cool video for those of us who have never been that far up on the SR! Thank you, Sir! Respectfully.
I love these videos! I am watch the history come back into view, while a dude is having a blast! Thanks Jeremy
Great video, flawless energy!
those piers are actually for the old bridge. the piers for the conveyor are lying on their side downriver a bit. will send you some pics on facebook.
Cool, either way great video! Not too many boat rides to Shasta Dam on TH-cam.
@@leahdorn1852 agreed! great video Jeremy
Fascinating video!
Great video!
Look at that water!
How cold is that water?
Thanks Jeremy
Cold!
Way cool!
Awesome!
Wished I could have gone with you!
What is that structure you showed from roughly 5:50 and past? Guess maybe some sort of old bridge (I’d say train but looks too small)

@@jeremytuggle6424 Ah that’s cool, guess I missed it if you mentioned it in video; I don’t know much history of that place unfortunately.
One day I’ll make this trip by boat.

Are the free tours still offered or have the fires and virus shut everything down at Shasta Lake?
Shut down the last I heard.
@@jeremytuggle6424 lame, thank you for letting me know. I was thinking of bringing the family down for the tour.
@@doobielawson702 I highly recommend it when they are open tho.

Loving this! Must be hard trying to rely on other people's schedules and boats since you don't have one.
Loved this, very much! Thank you, Mr. Tuggle.
