@@KevinLong-jr1zv Eh. It comes and goes. Like all fashionable movements. However, the story was about voguing/ballroom's LGBTQ culture and history. Certainly not something we should dismiss and regard as something to "move on" from ;)

HIV was the backdrop of the ballroom culture in the 80s/90s, so much so that it figured prominently in Paris is Burning. Everything can’t be a shill piece.
I think it's rather giving the community and the "House" component of House and Voguing the respect it deserves. Your House was your home because so many were disowned from their families. You actually can't separate these histories, that deadly epidemic meant that the community needed each other more than ever and they really stepped up for each other like a family. And simultaneously, they needed the joy, pride, dignity and community to be able to emerge from the grief. That's one of the things that came out of it, this beautiful ballroom culture.
Thank you for showcasing such a vital part of pop culture (and beyond). Not sure the editing is up to par, but you can’t have it all, so I’ma drop to my knees and back again to demonstrate my emotions.
Someone's PR team on the ball. This is a good take on Beyonce in light of recent revelations regarding her business and husband. I hope Bey enjoys her luxurious lifestyle while it lasts. The vail has been lifted on her hubby and his entire network.
Interesting that the context is about the black lgbtq+ ballroom and they chose the only white dancer to interview. Of course Honey Balenciaga deserves, though let’s change the spotlight a bit. Interview the black!
Not them highlighting a white ballroom dancer. I know she’s the most popular but ballroom started with black people. They should of highlighted someone black but you know what I blame the black ballroom scene for this because y’all let any and everyone come on me steal y’all light and shine more than you. So much so that half the country don’t even know that ballroom started with black people.
To not highlight black dancers from the tour was a choice. The target audience was not Honey. But I mean…. Ok. Major fail on your part. Because someone was included doesn’t mean they should be the face of that movement. One of the worst things for our community is people who look like honey leading the conversations.
