Indeed, what I would eventually summarize as: When injustice becomes law, then resistance is a duty! For the actor playing the sheriff of Nothingham in the 1991 version: yes Alan Rickman, absolutely, such a brilliant actor indeed! 👍 I like a lot what Alistair said about the process of writing and I would bring water to his mill; I personally feel like I improved a lot since I (modestly) started to write poetry or stories in English as I 'm constantly searching for synonyms, various ways to express an idea, stuff like colocations or the best words to use regarding the context! (very important ;-) So, yeah, very enriching regarding learning and way of improving as far as I'm concerned. My advice I would add to Alastair's: let your imagination go, don’t stay too much in banality or conformism, mark one's own mind with a stong imagery and that of the reader; the most passionate, excessive and even exuberant, the better. Of course, reading a lot and listening to a lot of stories that can be a good starting point and help to inspire and help and boost your own imagination. Thank you for introducing us to Alastair /Leonardo and thanks so much for the wonderful and captivating interview, Anna. Your exchange was brilliant and very interesting. Thanks a lot Alastair! 🙏👏 Merci beaucoup! Kisses to the both of you, ❤
The classic film with Errol Flynn, the original Australian to play Robin Hood a 1938 Warner Brothers film loved it as a child. I was hoping for more on Robin Hood but nevertheless interesting viewing. I would suggest most people try writing, not just a language project. ❤
