The New Panabas from TFW - Now We're Talking!

The revised, improved version now has a solid full tang and seems basically indestructible. In fact it's now a little over-built, which may limit the cutting power, although not drastically. Definitely a better, much more reliable tool / weapon than it was before though.

Regardless of the 5160 / D2 "blend" controversy, based on my testing I have no doubt about the steel quality. All blades from Traditional Filipino Weapons that I've tested so far have done very well in terms of cutting performance, durability, and edge retention.
