Yeah man, he loves it. It’s how people get that good at something. Discipline and sacrifice and hard work only get you so far, you have to love it to the point where it’s what you want to do, not a sacrifice.
I wanna see strickland next , he already has a tall thai like stance , hed benefit greatly adding some of these techniques into his style , especially knees and low kicks considering how close he can get to his opponents , he already has a pretty good teep.
@solufka2924 I know that , I've watched every fight of his career , he could keep the same style just add a few extra tools that he can use regularly on top of his solid jab , 1-2 and teep and defence. Imagine if he added a solid low kick into his pressure heavy style , he could set them up with the boxing and then whip a low kick in here and there , I know he can kick he just doesn't use much other then the teep.
landed something similar on periera actually. fake cross into headkick. periera ducked into it and reacted just in time to not get sparked. was actually cooking on pereira a bit in the first couple rounds. a few technical tweaks and hes right there with the elite.
@@jeloreryeah I was their too I rolled under his left hook and threw my right hook and he didn’t get ko’d but he got dropped. I weigh 160 btw I’m just all power. We had a competitive first round but my cardio came into play after that he couldn’t keep up
I’ve always found people only become alive when they are talking about their passion. The intensity of the knowledge that Liam teaches with is wild. Khalil seeking the best training like the best martial artists should is great to see
Fight IQ, traps, knowledge, techniques, all so good, so glad the future of bad company has expanded into this. It’s going to create the next generation of monsters in the fight game 💪🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I knew this was going to be great but damn! This was an amazing watch. Respect to Khalil for showing his respect for Muay Thai and to collab with the Hitman is just admirable. Great, great content Liam 🙏🏼 I'll try to follow along 🤭
Respect to Khalil for coming all the way to Leeds to train with Liam. American's can be arrogant and think they have the best in the US and mostly right too so for him to come to Leeds shows how humble he is.
@@MohamedAhmed-ms9eu not when it comes to boxing , kickboxing and muay thai , europe and Asia has the best strikers in the world minus a few top guys from south America. America is probably better when it comes to general mma and wrestling.
@@xiMaarKo I agree America has better MMA/Wrestling training but they're recruiting kickboxers from Europe to come train in America full time and offering them more money than Europeans can. For example, the striking coach of American Top Team is a Dutch coached who was based in Amesterdam and used to train Tyrone Spong and Allister Overeem but now he's moving to Florida full time.
I don't know what it was but I finished this and thought this was such a wholesome training video. You can see Liam's genuinely enjoying that he gets to show Khalil the extra little tricks for set ups and Khalil seems like he has such a great energy as a student. Great video!
That set up where you push them back onto their raised/checking leg to root them on it only to blast the same leg is so simple yet effective it makes me go "why the hell didn't I think of that?!" Cause I ain't Liam "King of Leeds" Harrison, is the answer! 😆 Thank you for this awesome collab, you two!
Really cool detail about Liam Harrison's sequences - You do 2-3 moves that he calls out then says "do whatever you want after this." That makes his moves efficient to fit into your style - an outside fighter might do a Hitman combo then teep or jab and move. If you teach the same sequence to a Muay Khao they will do the same combo but afterwards wade in and clamp on your neck. A muay Tae might do the combo, angle off and body kick.
I know a lot about Khalil and only know OF Liam Harrison...collabs like this are great to bridge the gap and get me on to people like Liam....followed.
Thank you 🙏🏽 we love and appreciate kickboxing and Thai boxing coming from the Americas we love watching other countries put on shows! I pray one day we become a Thai boxing and kickboxing powerhouse like Europe and the asias ✊🏼🙏🏽
You guys are both amazing at what you do , thank you for always sharing your knowledge as well Liam. You’re a very sound guy , my inspiration to be a Nak Muay stemmed from watching your fights so again thank you for what you do good sir🙏🏼
a lot of fighters have a "death before dishonor" tattoo but Liam lives it, always bringing the aggression and ready to go out on his shield. Encouraging a LHW, out of camp, Roundtree to blast him with kicks 😂, dude is probably 80lbs heavier than Liam! sensational stuff guys!
I know absolutely nothing about Thai boxing. The sheer physicality of this video is bloody impressive! Very motivating and pretty bloody scary to be honest. Will sub though great video thanks.
Rountree is a f*cking monster, dude is strong as a bull and explosive as a cheetah. The fact that Pereira beat this man shows how good you gotta be to be a world class UFC fighter

Nice one, thanks
watching Liam train is no different to watching a musician be in flow with their instrument. he's completely lost in it. it's beautiful to see.
Yeah man, he loves it. It’s how people get that good at something. Discipline and sacrifice and hard work only get you so far, you have to love it to the point where it’s what you want to do, not a sacrifice.
You can hear his Thai accent and sound effects coming through, he’s totally in the zone taking him back to his early days out in Thailand for sure
Khalils the first person I’ve ever seen train Muay Thai in a polo 😂
Probably because he was overweight in the past he instinctively wants to cover his body so people don't see him
@@adamc6168wrong bro is shirtless in his fight he isnt insecure
@@crafter505 not aloud to be shirtless in a fight? He is trying to cover himself as much as possible look at his other training footage
I think thats the UK football style though. When in the UK you gotta tip your hat to the football hooligan style
That's not a polo
What a banger! We need more of these collab videos

Yes but his style is more of a boxer, still would love to see him doing hard pad work and high level striking
@solufka2924 I know that , I've watched every fight of his career , he could keep the same style just add a few extra tools that he can use regularly on top of his solid jab , 1-2 and teep and defence. @@xiMaarKo His second bout with ddp is close, hope we will see improvement in his tactic
@@xiMaarKo i think Strickland is very limited in the techniques he can use because of his bad motorcycle accident.

Went into the fight with that injury

Hasn't been that long since the fight and has face was pretty bad
It is good to see you coaching sir. Muay Thai Rountree for the win!!
