how southall has changed since the 1980's when i was at southall with the GWRPG, we had Pannier 9682 and prairie tank 4110 and other junk including a 28 class 2885 [GWR]. most of the staff were more interested in fixing cars than rusty steamers, great days !, we had one loco Birkenhead 0-4-0 which used to be stuffed with a be matterss to get it going or what was available
This is better than the usual Crewe and Stafford stations!
Busy area, station and yard. Brilliant
Great video as always 👍
Another lovely video well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on TH-cam bye for now Philip
Very difficult to get close to Southall Depot due to its location. Always been a slight enigma in terms of what you might expect to see at this depot, originally steam but now heritage deal and also coach rolling stock.
Where can I find out about steam movements out of Southall. Im only a stones throw away and never seem to catch any steam. Great content by the way
that was an insanely busy period. why so much movement?
Great video indeed ! The Blue Peter steamer run tender first all the way from Crewe ? You sure had a good spotting sesssion. Power car looked weird on its own! 😅
Great Video

Super video👍🏻 Does Southall depot now belong to LSL? I think West Coast Railways used to have it but could be wrong
I believe it’s owned 50/50 between both LSL and WCRC
@terrier_productions LSL owned the two roads nearest to the main line and WCR owned the rest several years ago. Seems like that's the situation still. Actually, I think they both lease from BR property.
@@peterknight4692 ok thanks
The LSL side of the depot looks a lot busier (and better cared for) than the WCR side
abit like comparing Carnforth to Crewe Diesel Depot!😂
なぜ、貨車に落書きされているのでしょうか?
Unfortunately it's normal in the UK as there are many vandals free to roam , European countries and the US suffer the same.
