@EMTBnothyorkshiredad, thanks Rob yeah it was a awesome ride pal, I always seem to laugh at myself when I come off, I even laughed when I broke my thumb in 2020, shame I didn’t have a GoPro to capture the moment 🤣🤣🤣
@IanCran76, it was brilliant pal, some fantastic technical stuff and some new stuff too, yeah that section after the cairn looks well tame on camera but as you well know it’s anything but, the many pedal strikes are testament to that, the bracken and gorse certainly didn’t help but I enjoy the challenge of that too, even though I took a fall I very much enjoyed it as I did the whole ride Ian, thanks for sharing it mate 🙏🙏😉😉
You say it perfectly in your description....such variety in that area. I could ride around there every week and probably do some different combinations of trails. Epic stuff and a decent fall into the ferns too 😎
Thanks Jonathan, I love this area but I’ll be the first to admit I don’t ride it enough, I don’t want to get bored of it so I make a return visit every so often just to keep my interest fuelled, yep I came a cropper but it still made me chuckle 🤣🤣🤣
@kryton1021, thanks Bob, brilliant ride but the full credit goes to IanCran76 for the original ride, I just thought I’d change the last section but in actual fact, it would have been better to stick with the original official ending section on Houndkirk road, you live and learn 😁😁 I overtook both of those vans to prove a point as both of them broke their necks to get past me on the approach road only to slow my progress at the bottom of the lane and one of them cut in close to me too, I was going to tell the driver but I decided not to as it would have spoiled my ride 👍
Thanks Tony, your not wrong buddy, it does shake you about, it amazes me how some people can just fly down those descents at speed and stay in control, when I let my brakes off 💩 happens 😂😂
@yorkneytrailrider1751 it takes confidence and trust in yourself and bike. I did jacobs ladder this year and wouldn't of been able to do it last yr. Just a progression
Your totally right Tony, I lost complete confidence after I broke my thumb but it’s slowly returning and I find myself taking on stuff I wouldn’t think of doing a little while ago, mind you when you watch videos on TH-cam it looks like the steep stuff is flat, I’m hoping that GoPro has cracked that with the new GoPro 13 black 🤞
Nice one Sean…. That ride looked awesome. Nice little crash too 😂 at least you had a laugh about it 😂😂😂😂😂
Great ride especially the overtaking 🙂 some cracking descents too

Nice one Sean hope you enjoyed the route pal 👍🏼
The bottom part of that Cairn descent is well overgrown mega easy to get caught out there unaware 👍🏼
