When you were in the first section where the middle part was sectioned off & moved slightly to the side, I thought it was a pretty severe glitch. Took me a little while to realize it wasn't & by then my eyes were hurting. lol
I played this on my snes with a snes to genesis conversion cartridge. I remember when I got to this level I felt like the most badass thing in the universe after I realized you can whip the medusa fireballs. This stage is my most favourite out of the entire series. This game is my most favourite out of the entire series. And this stage is one of the reasons why.
I really think this is one of the finest levels in all of video games. Difficult, yet fun. And the music is absolutely top tier even in the grand tradition of Castlevania.

What's funny is the boss rush isn't the hardest either because of the fact you can choose when to get the meat
Most people look for a no subweapons run as well but just no damage on this stage in particular is impressive enough!
