I have the same cover when you installed it the rods are not straight across. Take the allen wrench and again loosen the rods turn the rods where there is no angle going towards the sides that's why the rods have a bend in them. The rods by your cab need to be rotated that's why its hard for you to close the lock. The rods need to be as straight as possible. Just a tip. Good video though.
Looks awesome 👌🏼 nice job. 🇺🇲🤙🏻I'm looking for a Trident FastFold Tonneau Cover that I can hook up to the cargo rails, I need one I can side off because I have a truck tent rack on my Ram Rebel for camping 🏕
I just bought one from the outlet as well. It's the aluminum one, (wanted black but the price difference was hard to pass up) but I might just have the dealer color match it to the truck lol.
Nice cover bro if you wanted to could you fold back an entire latch where it’s sitting on top of the opposite side or do you have to pull the entire latch off in order to get that space?
Thanks dude - you could. You’d have to pop the gas shocks and lay it back. It would probably rattle badly and possibly scratch itself against itself. You would probably have to strap it down too. After all of that it would have been far easier to lift it off. I recently lifted off the section nearest the tailgate and it took literally less than 5 minutes. Thanks for watching ✌️
@@venomrebel2020I know I’m commenting on a vid you posted years ago but wanted to know if you’d stick with the Diamondback you have or opt for the new Diamondback Trifold? Thanks!
What a great video! All the info i needed, none that i didn't. Informative and not begging for likes.
Awesome video man...thank you for showing that you do not have to remove the cargo rails.

Nice catch! I’ll take a look at that. Thanks!
Great vid! Ordered one for my 22 3500 Ram… Somewhat patiently waiting for my HD cover to be delivered this week.
Sick cover man. Looks extremely durable. 👌
So far I’ve been very impressed. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the question @uperrsc - the trifold is a very compelling option. I’d like to try it out!
no leaks at all?
A little bit near the driver’s rear portion on the bed. It hasn’t been significant enough to take adjustment measures however.
