It’s been years since I’ve made this…but I’ve made it half with the vanilla pudding/cool whip & half with chocolate pudding/cool whip & a homemade chocolate buttercream on top. Definitely easier with melted chocolate frosting!!
I use the flavored puddings to make frosting for cakes. I use 1/4 cup less milk after it sets I mix in the Cool Whip. Prefer it over store bought. I will more than likely try this recipe. Looks delicious ❤

I made this so many times I had to switch it up. I use lemon pudding and lemon frosting. I don't use that much pudding either.
