Hello Friends,
Today We are going to see how to change different modes in a samsung 5 in 1 convertible refrigerator. There are 5 modes in the samsung 5 in 1 convertible refrigerator.
The 5 modes are
Regular Mode - In regular mode the top compartment acts as freezer and the bottom compartment acts as a fridge.
Vacation Mode - In vacation mode the top compartment acts as freezer and the bottom compartment i.e fridge is off
Energy Saving Mode - In Energy saving mode the top compartment i.e freezer is OFF and the bottom compartment i.e fridge is ON
Extra Fridge Mode - In Extra Fridge Mode the top compartment i.e freezer is turned to fridge and the bottom compartment is also fridge.
Home Alone Mode - In Home Alone Mode the top compartment i.e freezer is turned to fridge and the bottom compartment is OFF

When we are in home alone mode, and the freezer is converted to fridge, what is the temperature of that compartment now?

When I convert to vacation mode and in home alone mode the fridge compartment is off but in reality fridge compartment is also cooling and lights also glowing.

Hi ! do u know, how to put this model into 'Forced Defrost' mode ? after holding the Power Freeze and Power Cool buttons for 10 seconds, the display goes blank (as it should in diagnostic mode). but i dont know how to put it into defrost mode after that...
Hi, Even I am not aware of "forced defrost" mode. This refrigerator defrosts automatically.
Too complicated to set the modes .it would have been nice to have a interactive digital touch display.

what is the max temp. for freezer and fridge?
Hi, for freezer it is -15 to -23°c. For fridge it is 1 to 7°c

You can set the temperature of freezer and fridge as per your requirement. You can even turn off the freezer or convert the freezer to fridge. There are five different settings that this fridge can be converted to.
