yes overall it is good, it is not for playing games, but cpu is good ram is okay and touch screen and screen quality nice i like it, it has good features :) i bought it for about 600 USD so yes 358 USD is good and worth it... Be careful it is same model and it is not broken...
You should really should press and hold the power button after disconnecting the battery to drain any residual power. Just an added safety so you don't short parts
I also bought this mode, after using it for a year, it just had some problems yesterday.... it's gyroscope that responsible for tracking screen orientation broke... after watching your video I can't seems to find the external board that held the gyroscope. so I think it's on-board... yeah... I called Dell support and they offer a on-site motherboard replacing. Not too shabby. :D
I too broke 2 plastic thingies next to the cooling holes, while being very careful. Those are, at that position soo very fragile. Dmn. Anyway it works, replaced 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM to 480GB SSD and 8GB RAM.
So what are the preliminary steps to do on the computer before replacing the hard drive? Should everything get moved to an external hard drive or will my information just stay on the computer? Sorry new at this stuff
if you change your harddisk to ssd, then all your files stays on the old hard drive... and SSD is empty, no files, no Operation System... You should back up all your data then replace the SSD and install a Operation System... If you are new at this, ı recommend you should get professional help :) take care man, good bye :)

I just replaced the keyboard yesterday. Make sure to get the full palmrest assembly and not just the keyboard as it's soldered in. I found this video useful as a guide: th-cam.com/video/s78wNfwZqnM/w-d-xo.html. Quite a lot of steps but a DIY job.

The only problem I have encountered is with the battery life, which I have found to be around 6 hours of constant use. Granted, I use it for light gaming and that definitely uses a lot of battery. But for basic work, I can make it last most of the day.

I can't believe you would show 3 long minutes, how you remove the back cover. Even a Waltz will not help keeping me, to finish watching this video. Think about the camera angle as well.

the one in the video (7359) can't have more than 8gb RAM. the ssd can be of any size. it just need to be sata 2.5 inch

my inspiron 7000 13". doesn't have the two modules DDR4 I wanna cry... the RAM is solded to the mainboard.
