Forgive my ignorance.... what do they use now? Something bigger, or faster. What made them outdated? Aside from tracking GPS and that electrical stuff I don't want on my truck.
Real shame of that equipment laying there and rusting, unheard of in Soviet Union on those titanic grain farms, tractors too old were sent for the scrapper and turned into new machinery, but in Russia its just like this, sh*t laying around rusting away today, shameless. Soviets used to take out old engines from tanks and put them in tractors, give them a bit of a new life with some rebuilding in factories, these Big Buds seem like they could easily do a few decades more if they got some love.
The Versatile and Steiger tractors are being used for parts to keep other machines in the field. The Big Buds are just waiting their turn to be rebuilt and put back into service.
Looks like they cleaned out their lot to the bone yard. Too bad you didn't walk around the Steigers.
Yep. What I was thinking too

Steigers couldn't get no love my boy?
what about the steiger and versitiles
Most of them were pretty stripped down, I didn't grab any close up footage of them. I was more interested in the Big Buds.
