Arvind Kejriwal Gets Interim Bail Till June 1, AAP Leaders Hold Press Conference | India Today News

The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till June 1 in connection with a money laundering case linked to the now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy.
A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta pronounced the verdict after a brief hearing on an interim bail plea filed by Kejriwal. The plea filed by Kejriwal had challenged his arrest in the Delhi liquor policy case and the subsequent request for interim bail to enable his participation in campaigning for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Investigation is underway. No one has proclaimed him as guilty or innocent. The court gave an unprecedented verdict on bail, which has not happened before on the basis of the right to campaign in elections and equal playing field for all. SC has come out to uphold democracy.

🫶🏻🫶🏻 immensely overjoyed to hear this news. I'm not saying he is innocent or corrupt, but he deserves some relief. As a student from a poor background living in Delhi, i could save so many expenditures only because of his WELFARE PROGRAMS. From BUS FREE RIDE, FREE ELECTRICITY, FREE WATER, we poor students can save some Rs 200-400 a month. While the BJP crushed us down with GST rates like as if we r Ambani/Adani.
