I love these rolling CB interviews. I spent 20yrs as an owner operator up here in Canada. The sound of the radios and the glow of the light brings back a lot of great memories. You keep up the job and hamburger down..
As a ex heavy wrecker operator I sure do appreciate y'all moving over an giving us room to work. Beautiful rig Kevin. An Chris thank you for a great video
I’m thinking about getting out of it too. I need better benefits, but everyone do it for different reasons. Better benefits, retirement, etc... If you own your own semi you gotta pay for fuel, break downs, tires, etc... If you own your trailer it’s even worse. You can make a lot of money, or it can be a nightmare!!!
Minnesota trucking at its finest thanks for catching another guy from my home state this is the second truck from minnesota n I love it ill be trucking soon so once I get my wheels turning maybe we will meet I look forward to it
John you the man, thank you sir for putting these videos on TH-cam, means a lot to see these nice rides and just pic my self in one,to all the drivers that has took the time to show there trucks and all they have put in them thank you as well,God Bless us all . looking for the next one ..
That's around 425 miles a day, 7 days a week for 52 weeks out of the year.... so if you are off on Saturday and 1/2 of Sunday, your mileage will come up to a little over 500 a day... divide that by 11 hours and that puts you at only 45.5 MPH.... 1.5 million every 10 years basically means you are NOT off for Holidays and you basically live in the truck ALL OF THE TIME... or, you run at 80 MPH and average 67 MPH and run more like 14 - 18 hours a day for 5-6 days a week..... it all depends how you want to tell it, write it or do it. My guess would be the latter.....run hard while U R young. You only sleep a few hours every 24 hours. You may get the weekend (or at least part of it) off, but then you are running a show truck, which requires DAILY and HOURLY cleaning and wiping (even while driving) GUARANTEED!!! .... this is why "outlaw" truckers and "outlaw" trucking is a LIFESTYLE. It is NOTHING like a 9 - 5 job where there is family and a life outside of the truck. That, my friends, is the stark TRUTH about hardcore trucking. Believe it or don't. Those of you who have lived it, know that I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. It's a choice. Nobody forcing you. You make the decision. You want a truck like this one here? You are going to WORK FOR IT.... you can take that to the bank ~ (y)

Chris, these rolling CB Interviews are extremely well put together, I can easily tell your large amounts of skill and experience with what you do. I appreciate these. My dad drove fire trucks for the county and he really was able to throw those trucks around the turns extremely well. Unfortunately, due to being a pack a day smoker, he had to throw in the towel and has since quit smoking, I am proud of him.
This is my first time watching your CB Interview, but not the last. Especially after recognizing some of those roads. That was cool for me, since I don't live there anymore. I've learned a lot just from watching one video (I've never seen a retractable front bumper before. That was cool!). Not a trucker, but - like most guys - I dig the rigs.
Lovely ride their brother! OL' Locomotion just wavin' my hand at ya Trucker! I Trucked 40 years and 33 1/2 of that was Over the Road. Retired recently So, sending some flowers at ya' to say "Lookin' Good ther Big Guy", Lord bless and y'all be save now-See ya!
Shoot we used to record with cam corder mounted in floor on tripod eating pizza shifting with left hand and smoking cigs at the sametime running across Bronx expressway in the 80s
It’s real easy actually if you properly know how to shift. Same thing just reaching over with your left arm and resting your elbow on the steering wheel to steer the rig. We have all been on the phone while driving and using our elbow to steer, or shifted manual transmission with our left hand. It isn’t bad. It’ll look impressive to people. Real simple actually. Truckers hold the CB with their right hand. If they are on it, they’ll have to use their left hand to shift and rev elbow to steer. Same with being on a phone call. I’ll tell you what’s impressive. Turning a 18 wheeler with your elbow. It can be real tough. Shifting with left hand isn’t bad. Reaching over can be a pain especially the gears to the right.
Great interview Chris! Awesome truck and trailer combo Kevin.... Both of you guys keep up the great work and be safe out there. Thanks for share the safety tips for truckers and smaller four-wheelers. Each one, teach one... Roll on!!!
im not going to lie i love big rigs trains cars buses anything with four or more wheels i admire your video so much hopefully i can get there some day thank you for keeping america rolling drive on brother
Another great video! Been into big rigs ever since I was a kid and my dad use to truck, really love what you do with making all these videos! Very clean truck, props to the owner!
I really enjoy these videos and I do not remember the man's name that makes them and talks to the drivers is the epitomy of being polite and proffesional, sir I hope you do not quit for a log time. I started in '86 at the age pf 21 and drove for 20 years and would not trade that for anything in the world, I was forced by health problems to hang up my keys for good and I miss it every day
That fine sirs is a classic example of a CLASS A driver that knows what the heck he's doing!! Lovin it at 3:18 when he starts rowin the gears with the left hand and right hand on tha mic,....never misses a beat!! TRUST ME not many a fellas can do this. That truck is simply beautiful!! And that’s right when you get that air horn wave you better be blowing that horn. I’ll drain the tanks for a little kid pumping his arm for the horn. Great vid man. Truck sounds amazing def a bad ass!
Moving over for Safety, I was on a Convoy in the State of Michigan in the Angola area State Trooper was with a vehicle on the side of the shoulder no hard to move as we drove by. A BigRig Videos he's right about that someone on the side of the road, I seen it happen WED on my way to Nashville TN. Thankfully when i threw my flashers on others took notice and moved with me. This was on I65 at 2 AM so no lights out there. thank God he was okay

Left hand shifting...impressive.
FUCKIN A BUD... cell phone in right hand, steering with right elbow and left hand rowing thru em
There is a video where the driver generally with one left hand. He speaks and shifts gears
Shoot we used to record with cam corder mounted in floor on tripod eating pizza shifting with left hand and smoking cigs at the sametime running across Bronx expressway in the 80s
What's impressive?
It’s real easy actually if you properly know how to shift. Same thing just reaching over with your left arm and resting your elbow on the steering wheel to steer the rig.
