Many of these guys run at the same kind of event in Quebec. I'd love to see the new Edison logging truck out of B.C. at one of these events. It would have to run in its own class, though. All electric. Didn't even notice it had 60,000 lbs of logs on three trailers behind it while doing a test day's work between lumber mills. It would just trample everything but it would be nice to see it do a few demo runs just for a look at the future. It would beat the snot out of anything Tesla has to offer.

Absolutely! With just enough ballast to make all the machines the same weight. I used to power slide an empty C-65 with a 20' box on long gravel curves. Very satisfying to make a dump truck do tricks. Used it to haul steel. Just a 5-speed with a Brownie but a real pleasure to drive.

That’s a lot fuel. EGTs got to be high. These engines have plenty of head clamping force.
