Love the blooper of breaking the goalkeeper 😅 Ordered plenty from these over the years, sadly haven't got any left that I need. Only 30 from completing the collection now.
That took a while! I ordered a couple from the same place and they came about 10 days ago. The home office border force had opened it to examine the contents though lol
Great video Stewart 👊🏻, looking forward to the second instalment have to laugh at your pronunciation of your foreign teams 🤣😂 even I struggle sometimes especially the South America teams.
HighburyBoyz Yorkshire thanks buddy. I’m shocking at foreign names. Get worse when I do player names lol. 8 more to come. Keep on my out early next week :-)
Well Stewart I did I little research on the three teams u struggled to pronounce Dinamo Tbilisi are from Georgia 🇬🇪, Club Nacional Montevideo De Football are Uruguayan 🇺🇾 and the best till last Club Estudiantes De La Plata are Argentine 🇦🇷 get you tongue round these bad boys 😂 😆
Hey dude - quick run down on the teams you got: VASCO DA GAMA - a Brazilian league team, named after the Portuguese bloke that discovered Brazil PARAGUAY 1998 - they made the World Cup that year BOAVISTA 2000-01 - from Portugal, I think they won the league that year SHAKTAR DONETSK 2008-09 - from Ukraine, when they started to boss Ukrainian football and become a regular in European comps. If it wasn't for the badge, it could have been the Netherlands - or Wolves ZAIRE 1974 - their only appearance in the World Cup. Most famous for one of their team hoofing the ball away when the Brazilians were just about to take a direct free kick SLAVIA PRAGUE 2007-08 - Serbian champions, I think CELTIC 1966-67 - yes, they won the European Cup that year BOCA JUNIORS 2003 - won the Copa Libertadores, I think. I still have my Boca shirt, it's my default summer shirt, and considering the summer we've had, I worn it quite a lot this year NORWAY 2008 - they made the World Cup that year. ITALY 1938 - the black kit was worn because Mussolini told them to "win or die". They won. CLUB BRUGES 1977-78 - runners-up to Liverpool in the European Cup ROSENBORG 2000-01 - they were in the Champions League that season and worried a lot of bigger clubs. That kit was from when Adidas knew how to make good kits. DINAMO TBILISI - as thepacker stated, they did one over Liverpool as Soviet League champions. NACIONAL MONTEVIDEO 1988 - from Uruguay, they won the Copa Libertadores that year. ESTUDIANTES 1966 - from La Plata in Argentina, pronounced "Ess-too-dee-ant-tezz" and literally means "students". Their style of play wasn't that scholarly back in the day, they were notorious for kicking lumps out of European teams in the World Club Cup. I'd have gone with Sunderland too IRELAND 1994 - their second appearance in the World Cup, following on from Italia 90 (RIP Jack Charlton) PORTUGAL 1966 - first appearance in the World Cup, went all the way to the semi-finals, thanks partly to Eusebio's 9 goals in the tournament ITALY 1934 - they won the World Cup that year, and would do so again in 1938, in that black kit PARTIZAN BELGRADE 1965-66 - reached the quarters of the European Cup that year, bowing out to eventual winners Real Madrid FRANCE 1998 - Zidane, Barthez, Deschamps, Petit, Laurent Blanc, Thierry Henry - who didn't want them to win the thing once England got knocked out? Most of the facts taken from my trusty World Soccer Encyclopedia of Football. Thanks for posting and enjoy!
I suppose it's a free market and I might be a sole source of income, for some. But, ten quid more is steep. Those I can't get, I plan to paint. I don't collect to have teams sitting in pretty boxes. They all get used. And, interesting, depressing or coincidental (delete whichever!) your comments re-damaged goods - my Gornik Zabrze (an Arsenal with red shorts!) has two players partly broken. But, as you say, for less than a fiver it's a mad price. My order also took ages - but I double ordered a team and they kindly swapped my desired team. Good service, helps if you can understand Spanish, but their English is quite good.
Just waiting for a Southend United 1980-81 La Leggenda - 4th Division championship winning side. Legends: Derek Spence, Dave Cusack, etc. The derelict building adjacent to the superstore/main Victoria Avenue entrance was once a Subbuteo goldmine.
Brilliant - you can't beat the quality of those teams for that price, absolutely fantastic deal. Good luck with collecting the rest.
Thanks buddy. Beginning of next week should be able to show you some more
Superb, as always. I will have to check out We Are Games. Great video - thanks Stu!

Wow never theses that one. I’ve had stuff from them take a couple a days before. It’s bit hint and miss at times
Italy won the World Cup in both 34 and 38. Benny Mussolini must've been very happy.
One was in Italy too
Estudiantes are Argentinian, first team outside the Argentine 'big 5'to win the league. Veron is currently their chairman 👍

Glad you enjoyed buddy
Top video, on form again dude! So all in all you’d recommend We are game offers?
Martin Shipman thanks buddy, yeah I’ve ordered from loads over the last few loads. Couple of minor issue and always sorted
Brilliant acquisition. Pity they sell out so quickly. You can always pay rip-off eBay prices, though. Montey-video. Roosen-borg. Dynamo Tib-leesee.
Can't stand people that go on and buy them, to then re sell on ebay. They know who they are

What fence is that around your board? Thanks
Original Subbuteo fencing. Look for it on eBay.
Yeah normal famous Subbuteo Fence, Ref 61108
Correct
Thanks for the quick reply appreciated
@@touchyfeely4855 No probs at all. I try and respond to everyone
Italy 1938 had a Black kit due to them being fascist at the time.
Arrh, that makes sense
