When I work in the garden, 2 Robins sit and wait for me to finish before the come and inspect, I can do whatever but they deep their distance of 2 meters. So I fill a driptray with some worms and put it 2 meters away for them and call them over, that's the best I can manage. So wish they would run over and pull them out from where I am working -.-
I raised a baby starling found in the middle of the road. He was caged for two days, then lived on an exersize machine, hand fed initially, got his flight practice inside, his foraging practise outside, exactly the same as this video. Bonding with him did him no harm, he left and joined the wild flock when he was ready.
Natalie Suemori you can tell it's still a baby as it chirps and flaps its wings when he hand feeds it. like chicks do when the parents feed them to get attention to be fed more than the other chicks.
I think the Robin has been with this man since it was a chick. Because when it is directed to a worm, the bird follows the man's finger, it understands being shown food. Here I think the lovely gentle man is teaching the bird how to forage for itself so eventually it will survive in the wild. I love people who a kind and gentle with animals of all kinds.
Yeah, most likely. At 3:00 the man states, "Well maybe now we don't have to buy worms anymore, huh?" The bird probably fell out of its nest at a young age and the man found it, raised it, and is trying to teach it to forage on its own as you said.
He could have been talking about worms for fishing. Every time I dig a hole I do the exact same thing because I'll see 100 fat juicy worms that would make perfect bait but whenever I go looking for some for a fishing trip they are gone!
this bird got tired of being bullied by the early birds teasing her for being late most the time so she got smart and decided to make a human friend to help her get the best food. The early bird might get the worm but the smart bird makes friends and gets the best feast even after sleepin in.
mikrokupu That's because it's still just a baby and they cry for food, even after they are weened. Though this one is not completely weened, that's why the guy was able to feed it the worms. But it is happy to eat for sure! It's adorable!!
And for the Worm Kingdom, that day would be remembered on the anniversary each year, as the Day Of The Dirt Digging which claimed many lives and changed their country forever.
Also the day the pitchfork people realized they were duped into creating war against the Worm kingdom.. thinking they were simply employed to disrupt earth that day
"As you all know when an incident such as this occurs many birdiphobic worms come out of the worm wood and use this tragedy as an excuse to push their speciesist agenda. As worms we must learn to get use to these events. We need to learn that this is just a part of life. Remember, if we let the actions of a small amount of radical birds change our way of life, they win. Treating birds like some kind of merciless killing machines only feeds the division and is in fact the reason for these attacks. Rather than spread hate we should join in solidarity with the birds who are often victims of indigestion." -Mayor of Dirtpile #PrayForDirtpile #NotAllBirds
I got my first parrot back in November 2016, so I haven't had him very long and he's learned so many things in that time and he picks up on new things incredibly fast.
i think the bird views it as him digging up food so the bird looks at where he is moving the dirt around. I don't think it actually understands why he is pointing though
this makes me so happy I mean it's crazy that a human and a bird who don't even share a remotely similar language can work together to achieve a goal but for some reason most human beings can't if they're two different colors
Listen to him speak to it, the words he uses, how the bird follows his finger, and turns to be fed: he has raised it for some time already, maybe it fell from its nest or something because his actions kinda point to him having cared for it for a while.
That was a big lunch! I counted (what I could see) she ate 35 worms and the last 2 were huge! Thank you for sharing your wonderful friendship with all of us. ♡♡♡
One of the nicest things i've seen in a long time! When intentions are pure, caring, compassionate, the connection will form. I wish world peace, so that we can learn to co-exist and understand each other in honest levels, and to start treating life and nature as special as you are. Living, breathing in every space, planet with it's inhabitants, all conscious, all feeling, all knowing. Maybe all the good things from the highest sources come into thy presence, and fill you with it. Have a lovely day!
"i cant do anything if u dont move,u understand, get down" lol aww 😂,the bird was sitting on the thing haha, and way he talks to the bird, with such kindness is awesome.
amazing how trusting she is. I like how excited she gets when he's about to hand feed her and her wings start flapping, that last one was hard to get down she was so full
really precious encounter! amazing the baby was SO trusting! we were designed to take care of the animals on this planet and to enjoy their company! That baby is SO full, he may not have to eat for a few days! Very nice video! Thank you for sharing!.......
Notice how the adult bird reverts back to its behavior when it was the chick, it flutters it wings and tilts its head back when its human feeds it by hand. Just like back when it was waiting for mama to feed her.I think its called the "Cute Principle"
the birds friends ask the bird how do get so much food putting on weight... bird: ah I got this two guys feeding me..they told me it's for TH-cam who cares as long as I get free worms haha
i had a baby robin hanging out in my back yard a few years ago and i helped it find tasty worms just like this. loved my time with Robin! thanks for sharing! 💖
Did he smile his work to see? Did he who made the lamb make thee? Tiger tiger burning bright in the darkness of the night what immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry.
You’re really lucky to have had this experience. I’ve seen robins hang around at a safe distance and swoop in to grab worms when my parents dig in the yard. But they always fly off quickly and they never linger very close.
my favorite thing? when he spoke and pointed, the bird ran over to see and get the worm. this fills my heart with joy
Angela Sanders any baby bird bonded to a human care giver will respond to finger pointing and excited talking. its so cute!!!
I KNOW RIGHT T-T
When I work in the garden, 2 Robins sit and wait for me to finish before the come and inspect, I can do whatever but they deep their distance of 2 meters. you are evil
I love how interested and entertained the man is at bonding with a random wild bird ❤️
Frank Alcala it's not a random wild bird... Where did you get that??
Im pretty sure he is not that wild cause he literally has 0 fear of the Human god.
K It how do you know it's not wild
Frank Alcala because I've saved & raised 3 starlings & a sparrow over my life. I know.
K It oh yeah I guess I'll just take your word for it
That bird probably slept for 3 days after that
Carl Zimmerman yes hahs
Carl Zimmerman could the bird even fly after this buffet????
Carl Zimmerman lol.
She escaped the cat but with terrible wind !
Carl Zimmerman yeah must have the itis something fierce
*OH LOOK!! OVER THERE! RIGHT THERE! THERE! OHO! LOOK THERE!*
Somewhere in another universe there's a giant bird feeding a man cheese burgers
someone should draw that
To funny
Lol funny as fuck.
Sounds like that should be a Rick and Morty episode
A Chicken Burger, maybe?
I love the trilling noises it makes when it's being fed by hand.
According to this bird, "looklooklooklook" is the English word for food.
your comment made me laugh so hard.
Professor Roundbottom BIRDIE MUST BE A BABY.GOD BLESS THESE 2 LOVEBIRDS!
Natalie Suemori you can tell it's still a baby as it chirps and flaps its wings when he hand feeds it. like chicks do when the parents feed them to get attention to be fed more than the other chicks.

Justin Bates haha you're right he's acting as a friend so you treat him like that. I was just making a point :p
Such a touching video. A beautiful interaction with a baby robin. Such a good man, generous to the world around him. This is rare among humans.
"Ooo ooo ooo I almost kill you"- Im dying, hahaha
Shadowbow1000 ikr I literally LOL
🤣🤣
I think that man has a friend for life.
I think the Robin has been with this man since it was a chick. Because when it is directed to a worm, the bird follows the man's finger, it understands being shown food. Maybe he's talking about his own lunch...
Gentle with animals "of all kinds" would include worms. I don't think they would agree to beeing handled gently.
oh damn , there's actually someone with a brain up in this beatch
Hahah, the guy is more excited than the robin!
Giradox k
Mem3 Cringe is canada even real?

Abraluce ... funny 😂
Now that the bird has machinery to do its work, it can dedicate more time to thinking, invention and maybe someday heading out towards the stars.
ForViewingOnly it seems as if we have competition....

Your post has one of the most thumbs up that I have ever seen.
Well done.
.
Stef Gamble - I think you got the wrong comment. The top comment on this video currently has 4520 thumbs up... now THAT is a lot of likes!
ForViewingOnly it's not a lot of likes if you usually get a million likes
the bird ate like 1 lbs of worms lol
Lmao!
I guess he was very hungry.
by the end of the video the bird was like "i need a big shit give me some privacy".
Watching this clever little bird, then turn to look at my pet hamster in disgust.
The word "useless" comes to mind.
Lmaooo
I don't like Hamsters for our snakes...not that much in them.
ROFL!!! 😂
Dude your comment made me cry laughing😂😂

The birdie sounds so happy and excited :)

mikrokupu: she is!
Bird 1: The early bird gets the worm Bird 2: Pfft, i dont need to get up early, i have a human
The early bird gets the worm but only the second mouse gets the cheese.
Not many birds can say they have a human grandfather.

I love how the man is so happy and enthusiastic to help the baby bird. Adorable!
Fake. This bird is a paid actor
hahahaha
he pays the bird with worms
The Cow331122 I know it's ridiculous, stop making fake content!!
XD worth it
The Cow331122 the bird was hacked by Russia
Collin you're a paid commenter, how much are you paid to stir the pot?
animals who learn that humans will do manual labor for them for free are smart and going places
Pineapple Time a real up and comer :) kinda funny
Those are the moments in which you really live.
The bird even seems to understand where he is pointing. That's more than you can say for some domesticated critters.
Birds are a lot smarter than people give them credit for!
Alienart that's right there so smart that's a compliment lol
I got my first parrot back in November 2016, so I haven't had him very long and he's learned so many things in that time and he picks up on new things incredibly fast.
They are! Apart from mine. Well, no, I have two smart parrots and three dumbasses, but I love all of them. ;)
i think the bird views it as him digging up food so the bird looks at where he is moving the dirt around. I don't think it actually understands why he is pointing though
god wears crocs
Istebrak Funniest comment here!!
Istebrak you need to paint this new god
new god yeah
And half bald .who knows ??

Chris A well a birds gotta eat some how ya know ?
You should get an award for most compassionate awesome guy! Thanks! You restore my faith in man
no compassion for worms RIP
According to the rules, I think that this qualifies him as a Disney princess
+Ron Mimnaugh yea that's the only reason. Nowadays it doesn't matter if you are a male or female, everyone can be princesses :)
DeadlyGreed
Count me among the uninformed. Just what is a Disney Princess?
"So I am some bloody hairy Disney princess eh?"
Thanks
this makes me so happy I mean it's crazy that a human and a bird who don't even share a remotely similar language can work together to achieve a goal but for some reason most human beings can't if they're two different colors
This was a coordinated worm massacre the likes of which I have never seen. A sad day indeed.
Davvves. lol, love it
Davvves A mass genocide.
Davvves but every worm was used for a good cause, their lives treated as gifts to those who took them
#rememberwormgenocide #neverforget #admittothegenocideoldguy
Yes, is very unfortunate
For a wild bird, this one is uncharacteristically trusting. Amazing!
Listen to him speak to it, the words he uses, how the bird follows his finger, and turns to be fed: he has raised it for some time already, maybe it fell from its nest or something because his actions kinda point to him having cared for it for a while.
Guy Pierson birds are very intelligent animals
This wild bird is more tamed than my *domestic* one
person of interest LOL you cheeky....i like
person of interest LOL
He actually raised that bird
That bird is a paid actor
person of interest LOL ur bird just don't like you. You messed up.

"Oooooh Look look look look looka dis"
this is the most wholesome video on the internet
fengy you have mot seen the ... how to mae the perrect pancake video
This is beautiful. Humans interact with other animals better than they interact with each other.
lol the hipocrisy.
id say the word "irony" would fit better here
Animals lack all the pretense of people. Socialization with them is a lot more believable.
fuck humans. animals won't shoot you.
Marneus Calgar
Says the meat industry and everyone who supports it....
There is always something special about creating a connection with a wild animal. That little robin won't forget this man.
+AndyFromBeaverton That's such a beautiful way to put it. Just wanted to say thanks for your post 😊
Thank you for being so kind
Now a days, you don't know how someone would react to this vulnerable bird
Thanks again
ALL THE SENSELESS STUPID VIDEOS I HAVE EVER WATCHED JUST GOT FORGOTTEN. THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER WATCHED YET

Bar none, the cutest thing I have seen in years. What a great guy!
This man helped save the life of a baby starting out in life. This is very special.
World needs more people like this
Together they took over 20 lives in 5 minutes.
Yes, the world definitely needs more people like this.

What an adorable talkative angel!
Adorable! Love that man and robin! Warms my heart 😊

Let's Not 1:24 as well
You guys are trippin
Let's Not I heard it too, lol. Also, at 1:56 the man says, "Oh, what a feast." The bird replies, "Yep!" LoL
you most likely have schizophrenia meaning you are going insane because you hear things that didnt happen.
also at 0:25 haha
After that meal, he should've drank lots of water and taken a good nap.
I'm so happy this video is still up. It's adorable.
This is the best film on TH-cam. Instant happiness.
So sweet. People and animals together in respect; lovely.
+Christopher Nicholson hahaha, true.
technically the worm is also an animal
Like she said " Respectfully taking their place. "
I hope the bird lived considering the amount worms in that belly
LOL
i wish people should get together in the same way. zero terrorism. zero violence. zero crime.
Zero terrorism? The worms would disagree, having their world ripped open with a pitchfork, dragged from their homes, and eaten. :D
Legend says the man and the boy are still looking for worms to feed the bird.
That is so adorable what a sweet caring man and his little bird beautiful story of him helping feeding her xx
I like the comment " do something for someone who can't repay you ".👍
This is legit the purest video ive ever seen on youtube XD
Lbolting005 Well since you are the one bitching it makes you the biggest bitch of all.
0:23 he says right there there's one... the bird says ... where? haha
I think she was getting lazy or tired towards the end and just wanted to be fed.
Full maybe, she is only small and ate many worms, probably wont hurt her to feast so hard since she is still growing.
God bless his heart! Helping this beautiful bird out!
Thank you for being so kind to that young bird, she trusts you so much :)
Yeeaaaa some people have a black hole inside their chest and a few others have a Heart. Lovely. Thanks for sharing.

SAMUEL Y.W FAVE COMMENT
Robins are such sweet birds.
i had a baby robin hanging out in my back yard a few years ago and i helped it find tasty worms just like this. loved my time with Robin! thanks for sharing! 💖
3:50 ish when he feeds it by hand. Omg. 🤗
plot twist: this guy is God in disguise.
I'd honestly die laughing if that was the case. Would be the biggest plot twist in the history of ever.
MercilessV lol
Only for birds. After that sad day worms tell stories about the devil walking in crocs.
Did he smile his work to see? Did he who made the lamb make thee?
Tiger tiger burning bright in the darkness of the night what immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry.
4:30 omg the worm fell on the birb haha this is so adorable 😂😂
I am trying to save a bird and came accross this....made my day
This is one of the most wonderful and caring feeling I had in my lifetime.
You’re really lucky to have had this experience. I’ve seen robins hang around at a safe distance and swoop in to grab worms when my parents dig in the yard. But they always fly off quickly and they never linger very close.
He keeps that up the bird wont be able to get off the ground!
"haha, I almost kill you"
She is ready for a nap after that!!
What a great guy to do that for this baby bird. Love how the bird is not even scared of the man.
Absolutely love this! I've raised baby birds and they are so sweet and mine loved crickets, lol!
that brids parents must have spoiled it when it was a chick and now it found someone else to spoil it 😁
