Gorgeous outfits styled beautifully. Pumpkin Risotto sounds divine. Your home is so beautiful and cosy especially when the fire is burning. Enjoy your Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Thank you for sharing ❤
Hey Josie I have being watching you since you had under 10.000 subscribers. I remember how you did all these asos hauls in your leaving room! I felt cozy then I feel cozy now. Thanks for the inspiration and the company. Love from Greece ❤
❤ JOSIE, REGARDING THE SUMAC… I just watched the vlog from a couple of days ago where you foraged the sumac. I don’t know the personal details 😊, but just in case anybody starts chasing after you with a big stick 😄…most property boundaries in the countryside reach to the road. Although that tree was outside of the wall, a lot of people build walls or hedges well within their boundary. It could well have been on private property…so no “foraging”. Of course, you may have known the owner, so disregard if so 😅; just don’t want you (or any viewers of the channel) getting into trouble 💕
Josie I rinse my pumpkins, squashes etc (the hard to cut items) and place whole into the oven right on rack for about 45 mins more or less depending on size. Makes them quick, easy and much more safe to cut. Then I just continue w however Im using it. I place a shallow glass dish of water under the pumpkin so the steaminess helps to soften a little.
Really enjoyed this vlog, Josie..thank you so much. You are so hard-working. We all appreciate that. And...how you have remained your sweet self!!! That also says a lot about your character..lets give Mumsie the credit there, shall we? My family has been in South Africa for centuries but somehow...there is always that sense of being 'English' and your vlogs are the quintessential experience of that
I love this vlog! Autumn is my favorite season. Autumn clothes are my favorite clothes. I also work from home and have since March 2020. When I did have to put together work outfits every day, it was exhausting. Absolutely exhausting!!! I do not miss that in anyway.
I actually have a seasonal work uniform. I'll purchase an autumn work dress in an autumnal color, and I'll get three of them and wear the "same thing" everyday. No one in the office cares, and I look sharp everyday. And I focus less on managing a work wardrobe. 😊
Ohh you know what upsets me out there in the stores atm!?? Stores did get the memo that brown is in! BUT I’ve noticed sadly that many stores did NOT get the shade of brown right! 😢 I’m seeing soo many browns with too much of red undertone?! Makes it look a bit rust, And with that shade it’s the one thing that will cause me to run! But, expresso or coffee brown (that’s the RIGHT shade of brown, as it has a bit of black mixed in!) so I’m hoping stores get the memo right for next year! lol it’s so funny how picky I can be about a color! but the red brown thing looks a bit tacky and doesn’t look good with many skin tones! But everything in an expresso/coffee brown I’m snatching up! Also the same goes for khaki green! I’m loving the very Dark Khaki Green. Ralph Lauren has a knit turtleneck dress in this deep khaki green and it’s so intriguing and classic and on sale 🤭 ! 💕love fall!
Hi Josie, surprisingly, I enjoy the rain clips. I live in a part of South Africa that barely receives any rain. I also loved the second outfit with the knitted vest 😍
Cockpot tip from a few vlogs ago: brown your meat and onions in the crockpot on the highest setting with the lid off before adding your liquids. You can add a splash of oil under the onions. It will get all of those browned bits into your meal, enhancing the umami.
Loved seeing all the new clothes in your wardrobe! I've been so fascinated lately by colour analysis and colour seasons. What season do you think you are? Also, the risotto looks so delicious.😋 Happy Sunday. :)
Excellent fashion content! I totally agree M & S cashmere polo necks AND their 100% wool polo neck jumpers I have invested in in past years? Beautiful colour choices, they don’t shrink (although I personally hand wash them!) long in the body which I like?
I use a serrated knife to break down pumpkin, a knife with a double serration. I actually use the knives in jack-o'-lantern 🎃 carving kits - bonus tip they also usually include a scoop with teeth ideal for scraping the seeds out!
When I work in clinic, I think something like that is appropriate with trousers (probably skip on the jeans until I’m the doctor lol.) But I rotate between business casual and scrubs, mainly because I don’t really like “business casual” outfits that much and don’t want too many items like that in my closet haha.
I don’t live in the UK but nobody talks about the weather more of the people that live in New England. I’m in Connecticut. We always talk about the weather, but probably because it changes almost by the minute.
Aaaah the Babylonstoren balsamic vinegar! Babylonstoren is our very own version of Daylesford down here in the Winelands in Cape Town South Africa. They are affiliated with the Newt in Somerset 👌🏽
My workwear wardrobe. Business attire rules (each company makes up their own but always a general idea) in US would be dressy blouse, cardigan, no sleeveless or capped sleeves, armpits should never be visible, belted, tucked shirts unless the style is cut for length, no mid drift if arms are raised. No open toe shoes or sandals, no sneakers or gym shoes. ,no blue denim jeans but colored jean material is typically ok) skirts should be knee length or longer, some allow fingertip length if hands held to side of legs. When shopping for work attire most buy seasonal staples that are enough for the work week (neutrals or solids that can be accessorized with pattern special pieces. I’d typically rotate the same bottoms during the week with different shirts. I would typically try to only repeat a top no more than 2 or 3 times max in a month. Some are absolutely fine with repeating the same outfits weekly but many like to express their style by seasonal trendy pieces. I spent majority of clothing budget on good quality basics or everyday wear and less on shirts I may only wear several times then pass on to someone else to enjoy. Shoes, well fitted well made trousers and jackets were my biggest budget.

Hello! There might be something wrong with your microphone! There's a crackling sound happening!
It almost sounds like water damage
Sounds like you have a fan on or something. And its more than the first 10 minutes.

@@JosieIronsHi Josie! It might also be your camera lens…mine does that when it’s set to auto focus

Wow! This green top really brings out the green in your eyes!! So pretty in green!!!
I love that dog so much, what a love.

Garter! Sleeve garter or armband. I remember this from my early childhood / films - westerns particularly? Xx
Useful tip if you put a clean tea cloth under the pumpkin when cutting it doesn’t roll much safer
Such a lovely vlog & I so enjoyed watching ❤❤your darling boys pitter-patting through the raindrops. So magical!

Great vlog. Soak the dates in warm water for 10 mins then add them to the blender.

The lovely skirt in outfit 1 feels more evening/event appropriate rather than work/day! My view…
You are Glowing Josie !
You can clean the lids and doors of your Aga using fairy liquid and hot water on a dish cloth .

The old fashioned arm things were called Armbands. My Dad always wore them with his shirts.
Does anyone know if josie has mentioned the ingredients of the pumpkin latte in another vlog as it looks soooo delicious 😋😋😋😋
Beautifully outfits❤

Why would you wear a knitted dress in the garden ❤❤
Excellent content thanks. Xxx
Is it just me or is the sound bad? Hard to watch as it’s quite muffled/crackling
There is a funny noise coming from this vlog

Has the winner been drawn in the Strawtop stay competition?🙂
Hello Josie
27:39 😍🐶
Why don’t you give the recipe for the energy balls?
I spoke through it all!!
I work in an office and there's no specific dress code, most people wear a shirt and jeans or smart casual outfits.
Hi chicken ❤❤❤
There was a strange sound happening throughout your video 😮 which was quite distracting x
Hello darling Josie 😊👋🌺
Shame not signed of where the clothes are from. Its got to be so quick to mention this
Rather a lot of balls and nuts chat in todays vlog 😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤
