  • It's a low-stress but entertaining match where Ronnie focuses on improving his game, looking for cue action perfection. This is their first meeting in 24 years, with Ronnie still in his prime and Nigel about to announce his retirement from professional Snooker. Enjoy it.
    2021/22 season tournament.
    Match date: 21 February 2022
    All statistics are as of the game date unless otherwise noted.
    Cesar Muroya created a unique editing format to extract the essence of the game without losing the drama involved. Contextual information is also an innovation appreciated by viewers.

      Yank here fascinated with snooker and have a ?. If you're shooting a red with a cannon into the pack and another red goes in in the process that's a legal shot and not a foul or is the second red made on the shot just considered a fluke? I noticed the score keeper counted both reds with the score going from 12-14. I know if you make a color on that cannon, it is considered a foul and points assessed according to the color made.

    • @castleanthrax1833
      @castleanthrax1833 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tanmanlovespool Yes, you are correct. You can pot more than one red, and each "counts". You don't have to pot the red you are going for, but as you have noticed, anything else, like inadvertently potting a colour is a foul.
      Edit: You must pot the colour you intend, and if they are so close that it's not obvious which you are aiming for, you must nominate the colour.

    Ronnie's break to bring it to 3-0 was brilliant!
    Unusual that Nigel doesn't appear to favour either eye when looking down the shot. Neither eye is in line with the cue... A fair bit of movement on the shot too, especially when playing with power.
    Some great long pots by Nigel, but he always screwed back to baulk, didn't commit to the shot. How many times did Desislava say "Nigel Bond, one"...
    Nigel was a great professional thruout his long career. Started his career way back in 1989.. Wish him all the best....
