I wouldnt say Gigi is a Rally Legend from 1998 to 2008 he only managed to get into the podium twice
Gigi is clearly quicker, neater, and more flamboyant.
Block had no chance.
I think it's a car thing.
The Cosworth is less responsive.
Block is in a car that is almost 30 years old. That is why he had no chance. The amount of body roll from the Cossie to a modern day WRC car is tremendous. The simple fact Block is doing as well as he has in his RL appearances is a result of him more so than his car.

Galli is an artist👌what a style, such a technique, nobody else drives like him.
It's so nice to see that although both of them do a lot of spectacular "drifts", Gigi is so much smoother and more precise.
Gigi is a proper rally driver, Ken is a showman and a businessman :)

Auto di epoche diverse 20 anni e non sono pochi la magia del Gigi e' unica,perche' il compasso come lo traccia il Gigi non ha bisogno del geometra,ha corso diverse gare del mondiale rally da protagonista,e solo per mancanza del vil denaro non ha avuto la possibilita' di continuare,l'altro un america stunt men che vive di pubblicita',bravo,simpatico ma non un pilota da rally mondiale,Gigi sempre.Prima del suo arrivo in prova speciale ,tutti erano agitati,adesso arriva il Gigi,ed era sempre un trionfo,let's go Galli ,torna nei rally hanno bisogno di te.

Very different cars. Gigi also has much better stage knowledge, can see that on the way he drives the stages, combined with a much more powerfull and modern car, it really is no contest.

Obviously Gigi would be quicker. But I did respect Ken. I wouldn't mind seeing him (or Travis) in WRC again. I know they would be slow but it would raise the profile of wrc

@@alexgalli5288 Ken Block è il re del drift ma Gigi Galli è tutta sostanza, veloce e spettacolare allo stesso modo, dispiace che sia uscito così presto dal giro del WRC, avrebbe ancora tanto da dire come pilota e collaudatore, da come va la Kia è pura dimostrazione.

Sounded tame for that power m8 it was probably more like 350 to 400 hp for that event as it would be ridiculous putting 600 hp down on slidey roads . Not that it cant be done but its rally setup not rally cross.

La Escort di Ken Block è una ex Gruppo A "aggiornata"... A livello aerodinamico è stata stravolta per somigliare alle nuove WRC, è più larga rispetto all'originale e monta un diffusore al retrotreno. Il motore è l'originale YB con la flangia da 34mm per il turbo (come da regolamento Gruppo A), abbinato però ad una centralina elettronica attuale ed eroga 370 CV, 60 cavalli in più della RS Cosworth ufficiale di 26 anni fa. La Kia di Gigi Galli invece è da rallycross ed ha 600 CV... Ma non è questo il punto: Ken Block è un imprenditore che ha i soldi per gareggiare e fare spettacolo mentre Gigi Galli è un pilota purosangue, è per questo che non c'è storia...
