Or maybe it's an indication of the people not knowing what being a 'great president' in this country is. All three branches of government are in disarray when it comes to working together for the ultimate benefit of our people and nation. Ratings are poor across the board.
Because nothing was done. Allot of money got spent to do next to nothing. Yes COVID spending was bad too, I am not giving Trump a pass. However Trump did make things better before that. Biden has just done nothing the world happened and due to incompetence or need to pay back his donors/promises he did not respond to it well at all.

Trump is only 3 years younger. Doctors have tested both Trump and Biden. Biden always passes, Trump always fail. And military doctor literally said Trump is mentally unstable and shows signs of Alzheimer's. This makes sense because Trump's dad had Alzheimer's, which is something that can be inherited genetically.

I'm going to keep writing this as often on line as I can. Why are you not interviewing the DELEGATES who were elected to choose the nominee rather than members of Congress who can't vote until the second ballot if there is one, and who have a horse in this race...themselves? The delegates represent the Democrats in the whole nation and are local people. If they are wavering, and if that threatens to throw the convention into a shambles, we should know that ahead of time and Pres. Biden should know it so it can be prevented. If almost all the delegates are still foursquare behind Biden, we should know that NOW, and put this discussion behind us.
We don't need controversy and excitement. We need information.
This is reality, not a "reality show" to entertain us with melodrama and suspense, with a goal of earning lots of commercial sponsorship for the networks.
The strange thing is that a network like NBC hasn't taken that reality to heart, when Trump has promised to take y'all of the air and indict some of your hosts, and you're still worried about ginning up the controversy and excitement. If he wins and is sick, at his age, of being carped at every day by Joy and Joe and Lawrence and Nicolle, etc. he's going to turn those threats into reality.

I literally could not possibly blame any potential voter who doesn't turn up on election day with these choices. In all seriousness though, Biden really can't win anymore. The sooner people come to grips with that, the better. The polling is showing it's already in Trump's favor, and the margin of error has historically HEAVILY favored Trump, because he activated a base that tends not to participate in polling.
I'm sorry, but his campaign is done whether he stays in or not. There was never any coming back from what we saw and heard at the debate, and all his "redemption tour" has done (even when he's demonstrating an understanding of the topic) is provide further evidence of his overall cognitive decline.
If the Democrats run with Biden on their ticket, they lose the house and the senate as well as the presidency. Because Democrats aren't entitled to anyone's vote, no matter who the other guy is. "Ridin' with Biden" (off of a cliff) is just going to give demoralized voters more reasons to stay home than bother casting a ballot for just the "lesser of two evils". And you can't blame them for that.
Democracy (not the party, the actual concept itself) has a responsibility to rigorously test candidates. Party mentalities have SUPPRESSED that responsibility by giving too many passes for things that shouldn't be overlooked or ignored.
We're asking for an acceptable candidate. We are NOT asking for the lesser of two evils. We WON'T accept that, and neither will the demoralized voter looking at this saying "Why should I bother with Democracy if it hasn't provided me with an acceptable option?"
Sticking with Biden means that the Democratic party will have to (continue to) gaslight the American public about Biden's condition. Which effectively just creates a Blue MAGA. All three candidates should be debating, not just the two parties. (Kennedy has far more support than Ross Perot did in 1992, and who participated in all three debates).
