We have the same sense of humor!❤ So, SewmeSherrie, you deserve every one of your gifts you planted in your big birthday garden. May every seed flower into joy and laughter! Happy Birthday! ❤

Absolutely love watching your video's. Love seeing all your beautiful stitching, hearing your plans, but also laughing out loud as you are a very fun lady 😊❤
I have always wanted to try murky fabric! Sarah's Stitchy Spot has the best fabric choices! I like dying my own! It's always a mad scientist experiment❤
I love your beaver story, oh my god, I laughed out loud so hard!! You are my favourite flosstuber!!! I am getting ready to put my garden in and planting all my seeds to sprout!! Take care!!!
I was a fan of Wonder Woman too! You are a proper stitcher, your stitches are wonderful. We all always underestimate ourselves. If only we could be an Octopus and double our stitching time. I think that we will probably end up with more wips...
Yay Sherrie! I’ve been waiting for this video, especially your gifts - it was like reliving Saturday evening’s show & tell all over again 🥰 I don’t think I’ll ever forget being full-named at full volume by you from the hallway and having no clue what I’d done 😂 I was very careful not to keep on thieving after my unsuccessful attempt in Nimble Thimble! That Winter Garden pattern is just gorgeous, I could have looked at models all day to be honest. More Disturbed Women retreats in the future 🤞🏻 Had a lovely weekend with you owd biddy, love tea leaf x
Also, question: would the octopus arms come with an extra 3 brains? Because I can’t make my two arms stitch in the right place as it is, I’d be non-stop frogging with octopus arms 🙄
You make me laugh so much! I can only imagine what you're zoom mates looked like as beavers. Your projects and gifts are great. You have a good eye for fabrics. I have to put sticky notes on my charts explaining my mistakes and telling myself how to compensate so that everything else isn't off. I totally blame menopause. It made me stupid! Or maybe it's just aged brain cells.
Oh Sew Sherrie, you never disappoint! I too used to struggle with the amount of “fudging” I tend to do in my projects. But a friend once shared, “if the colors are just the designers suggestions and we can change them to suit us, why can’t the pattern be a suggestion?!” Changed my world! Garden
Hi Sherrie just love your videos you always make me laugh.some of your stories are so funny love the one about olive and the Reindeer.i love my garden ❤
I was laughing so much at the beaver zoom call story. I stitched the rose bush sampler . It is so beautiful. I gave it to my daughter in law. It was fun and interesting to stitch. I love the moonlight garden pattern. Your wips are really nice.
Aw, I was so happy to see you today. I am a relatively new stitcher (well, bobbing about with cross stitch for a few years) and I really enjoy your enthusiasm and chat! Thanks for sharing all your work, I love it all. And the gifts? You're worth it !
Sherrie it does not surprise me the amount you stitched on your retreat. Hope to see you in a few weeks at Floss Friends Retreat. The Garden pattern looks lovely.
Sherrie, you and me are kindred spirits, (my sympathies for you), when you said ‘Loving it, loving it, loving it’ we both said in unison Loving it like that 😂😂. Thank you so much for doing these floss tubes, the retreats sound great, but people, I don’t people, generally for their safety and mine 😵💫. I love the Nora Corbett and the Disturbed Women, now those are musts! I think I’d put the latter on my bedroom door 😂. I’m in Quaker overdrive atm. I’ve just started not one but TWO of Vivsters Quaker flags, the Welsh flag 🏴 started yesterday and the Union flag 🇬🇧 today. Each has 86 Quaker squares, the pattern is the same on both just the colours different, so I stitch one then the same pattern on the next flag. Hence putting off your enabling floss tube, in true Sherrie fashion it won’t stop me buying them. Thank you for letting us know about The Pink Scissors, it will be the closest to me here in Swansea. (Getting from South to North Wales without going around the houses is a nightmare) So looking forward to that. I’d best get the word in before I forget, Garden. Fingers crossed 🤞 Take care until next time stitch happy 🪡 and avoid the 🐸
This week my husband prepared the garden for our summer crop of tomatoes 🍅. It is so so much work stewing and canning tomatoes but there is nothing better in homemade soups and spaghetti sauce. ❤
I take my hat off to you. That can’t be an easy job but yes my garden and cross stitch give me so much pleasure and keep me out of trouble (sometimes 😂)
Hi Sherrie I look forward to seeing your progress on stitching the drawnthread projects I have had my eye on the moonlight garden but have not taken the plunge yet, it looks lovely. Enjoying your flosstube always have a giggle xx
Good morning Sherrie❤ Always good to wake up and spend time with you! I 'bout spit my coffee all over laughing about Beaver night! That's why I love you so! You Are A Proper Stitcher Love❤ Linda Carter, she is a stunner! Even at 72! I'm not living right 😊
Your sister stitches are coming along nicely! I suggest a blue frame to match the thread you are using for the words. If that doesn’t work maybe a silver frame. Whatever you choose will be beautiful.
I love your Quaker Sisters, especially the White on Grey, they look lovely 😍 the London retreat sounds fun, I have never been to one, I may have to keep an eye out for the future . The Garden sampler looks amazing too , you bought yourself such a lot of great stuff! Thanks for another fun video 🌞
Missed seeing your funny stories etc, love watching you 😂 your gifts were all great - I’m sooooo excited about going to the nimble thimble and create nostalgia in May although I think my bank balance is terrified 😳🫣😂 the moonlight garden is beautiful, love the drawn thread x
By the way, I just love that China doll plate needleminder. I found a set of 5 delft pieces, 3 plates and two tiny mugs so I just ordered to make my own!! Thank you Sherrie!😊 I love how your pretty necklace is hanging over your tee and looks like the head of the bee!?!
I enjoy your videos so much. Looks like you had a fantastic time shopping. Your beaver tale had made me laugh. Hoping the weather warms up soon in the uk so I can do some stitching in the garden 😊
I loved your story about the beavers, so much so my husband turned to me and asked what had made me laugh so much, when I showed him he walked away, shaking his head, snickering 🤣 Have never stitched a Drawn Thread and love the Midnight Garden pattern, very tempted to get that!!! Love the MFE Rose Garden pattern and you’ll be fine on the 56 ct (words and numbers are easier than patterns!) can’t wait to see your next flossy ❤xx
Hi Sherrie, As always am loving watching your flosstubes and seeing your progress with the owl forestry WIP - just love all the threads! I love your ethos of buying yourself gifts. I have always adapted this mindset. Although my husband did surprise me at Christmas as he purchased me a Bothy Threads kits “Know Your Gin” kit that wasn’t on my Christmas list, which am currently stitching. Hopefully I’ll have it finished for the floss friend retreat in April (not long!). I can’t wait to get into the garden when the weather is better - not to do any gardening per say but to sit and stitch in the sun. Am currently baby trapped watching flosstube as my daughter is asleep on me poorly, so thank you for the entertainment whilst I try not to move and disturb her and distracting me whilst I also pretend that am not desperate for the toilet! Hope to see you at the retreat next month xx Nicola x
Hi Sherrie ….sitting here in excruciating pain with fibromyalgia and arthritis but you so brighten my day so thank you as always really enjoyed your video 😊 I love the Garden x
Oh Sherrie I laughed so much at your beaver story😂. Our winter garden is beginning to look a little more spring like despite the hailstones yesterday and heavy rain showers today. What goodies you treated yourself to and reminders of an enjoyable Retreat. I tend to talk more than stitch when I'm in a group as I enjoy being with fellow stitchers - and can stitch at home!😊 Good luck with the high counts. My cataracts impede my progress on 40ct despite magnification help so haven't tried higher.
Hi Sherrie - as always a fun filled time had by all watching your flosstube!! 🦫🦫. If the sisters were mine I’d toss something bold at the words - like variegated raspberry! Just a crazy thought - they look amazing to date! Maybe you should try stand up comedy .. keep on doing want you do - we love it 😃
Finally managed to watch your video (seemed fitting today) and you made me laugh so much! David Attenborough move on over! You brought back all the fun memories from Wales. THERE'S A BUTTON MISSING!!! 😂 I enjoyed your show and tell on your purchases just as much the second time round too. Sherrie, Sherrie, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? With speckled urns and silver pots, I dont know the difference, but I bet you have lots! ❤🤷♀️
Hi Sherrie, another lovely video, you do make me laugh. So glad you had a good time at the retreats you have been to. I have been to Nimble Thimble, but am yet to make it too Create Nostalgia, maybe this year. GARDEN.
I always look forward to your videos. I am now desperate to visit Create Nostalgia and the Nimble Thimble - will just have to try and sneak the credit card out without my husband looking 😉 Maybe I'll send him to the garden 😄
Black, white, charcoal frames, all good, but the lavender/purple would be gorgeous!! Warp and the weft! Aawww girl, you are my favorite❤😊 Oh, I found a cat chart for you. It's gorgeous! I wanted to buy it. I do have that Modern Folk Embroidery cat, but couldn't afford the lovely floss...I'd like to email so you can see if it is something you'd love... Magical Mystery Tour. I grew up on the Beatles. My brother Steve taught me to do the twist while they were on Ed Sullivan. I will always remember that❤ I agree, kits are fantastic❣
Absolutely love your videos, especially your stories that are hilarious and always brighten up my day!😂 The highest count I have stitched on is 40 and can’t wait to hear how you get on with 56. You might just inspire me to try higher counts! Enjoy your garden when you can get to it.
Loved watching your latest video and am looking forward to hearing about your other Retreat experiences next time. Seeing the array of kits and charts by The Drawn Thread prompted me to check if I already owned Moonlight Garden and of course in doing so one of the ones I do have jumped out and into my “must start soon” pile. It’s a kit from The Nimble Thimble - I just love the way Chris prepares them. I’m sure you will love stitching Strawberry Fields for your Dad. I finished it a couple of years ago and loved every stitch. Good luck with the 46 and 56 count fabric 😱
Garden hey sherri lovely to see you xx omg the beaver story was brilliant 😂😂 sounds like something I’d do just bought strawberry fields it’s so pretty x and those meltdowns are brutal isn’t it awful lol xx glad your ok great flosstube as always ❤
On those 2 sisters, what if you sewed them together as Liz Matthew’s Spring House is done, then they can be framed together. I like the idea of a charcoal colored ornate frame. She lovely in my head! 😂
You had my laughing a lot in this video. I definitely need to stitch the Floral Etchings, wish I could grow flowers like that in my garden! Was lovely to meet you at the retreat, I was bricking it before I went too but had such a lush time ❤
I love your channel…so refreshing and fun! (I just found it and love it.) Wish you lived next door! ☺️I’d love to stitch the moonlight garden chart but definitely NOT on 56 count!!!😉
Fab video as always and I'm creased at all your knowledge of reindeer 😂😂 I'm a bit the same after helping amelia with her homework yesterday I'm your girl if you wanna know anything about garden hedgehogs 😉😉🦔🦔 haha xxx
I’m really interested in the meadow roll, hoping to get a live glimpse of it at the Stitch Festival this month, as the CSG website doesn’t really show a good image of it. It’s such a clever idea to display stitching. I have made several of their books and they are such lovely pieces to flip through.
Ah lovely to catch up with you! I'm starting Spring Quaker in April with my friend Alex if you fancy joining us? Love seeing all your presents - pleased you spoilt yourself. Happy stitching and hope we can get out in the garden soon! xxx
Missed you! Glad to have you back! ❤ Love the beaver tale! 😂 I’ve finished the first of the Two Quaker Sisters, but I swapped out the words on both of them . Finished the first one as a bell pull, when the other one gets finished I’ll do the same, & they will hang next to one another.
Hi! Missed you! Lol oh love the floral etching I need to buy it and the new one. crosshatch stitch .. and hey it’s 1x at a time,, I hVe been stitching a long time and am no where like some but it’s 1x at a time. Well Rudolph had to know the way so had to be female😂! Omg too old! Get that out of your head, 50 (soon) is not old! I am 67 and even though my body says 80 some days, I am not old.lol this older lol lady (yes I know. Just saidI’m not)needs a hard straight back kitchen chair to stitch. Great quote❤! See you next time.
Another fun update with you. Glad your weekend turned out so well! For trading your Quaker sisters, I think introducing another color would distract from the stitching so I would stay in the same range of neutrals. Just me…but you did ask😉
I’m struggling to get up to 40 count without doing 56 count 😂. Love the drawn thread but never stitched one, would love the moonlight garden . Thank you for the update x
Always a joy to see you Sherrie! Your laughter is contagious, and I akways get an out loud laughing with you. Your stories are a highlight for me, a veritable garden of joy. ❤
Love your update and the shop shout outs, Im travelling from Australia in a week not sure if I will get to any but I might try. Heading to Durham York and Gloucester to see family and friends. Enjoy your channel immensely, Im an auld biddy too! Love the Moonlight Garden pattern!
Lovely to see you back. We missed you. Oh what a glorious haul of goodies you brought back with you. Looking forward to spring when I can sit outside and stitch in my garden.
Hi Sherrie! Thank god you’re back I’ve been having withdrawal symptoms here😂 So good to see you again. Thanks for another great video. Love all of your presents and WIPS. you’ve made my day xx
Interestingly, Hardanger fabric, or Oslo fabric is not the traditional fabric for Hardanger embroidery..it’s much too coarse. I tied using Hardanger fabric for a cross stitch and threw it out; the lack of threads in the weft and warp mean it doesn’t support the stitches well. I can’t see much use for it really! 😬
Hey Angela, thanks for the prompt. The small pure light one isn’t great but the daylight Halo Go is incredible. There were 3 of us on the table in London who had them and although they aren’t cheap I think it’s worth every penny ☺️
Only you can turn people into beavers 🦫 😂😂😂 i had to fudge my seasons of the heart spring but you honestly cant tell , so carry on lass. I personally like the lilac thread❤ im doing a Drawn Thread at present, loving the garden ❤
Great video Sherrie, I so enjoy my time with you. I totally get the people thing. I've just had to cancel ENR cos I was getting so worked up about it. The annoying thing is I've managed to go to the two previous years, but I think they've put attendees up. Going for one day now though😃. I would love to spend a day in the garden with you, chatting and maybe stitching. Your trip to Wales sounded great, much easier amount to deal with. I think a nice rich rusty burnt orange for the Sisters or could you just swap the colours to make positive and negative? Love love your self love shopping lol. I for one thought the Deer/Reindeer info. was really interesting, I did not know any of that.Have a great fortnight. Stay safe, enjoy the stitches.
😂🤣😂 Your tale of the bobbing beavers was hilarious. I want to be on a zoom meeting with you. Nothing better than totally laughing until you are breathless. We have the same sense of humor!❤ So, SewmeSherrie, you deserve every one of your gifts you planted in your big birthday garden. May every seed flower into joy and laughter! Happy Birthday! ❤
Absolutely agree about the belly laughing Kris 🤣
With Beavers and 56 count you’ve had a blast of a month. Lots of beautiful gifts and why not. Until next time….Happy Stitching on what ever you want 🤗
Oh yes it’s been eventful 🤣
I love it - “i love me and who is else is gonna buy it for me?!” Too right!! ❤ I hope this rain stops soon so I can enjoy my new garden 🪴 x

So nice to catch up with you! It’s always a hoot 🦉 😁🤣
I would love a nice Garden 🪴
Aw thanks Mari ☺️
I finished The Rosebush Sampler in December!!! I absolutely loved every stitch! I, too, saw Jane stitching this & had to have it!!!
It’s just so beautiful isn’t it ☺️
@@justsewsherrie absolutely! I sent you my finish to your email!
Hi Sherrie - as always a fun filled time had by all watching your flosstube!! 🦫🦫. If the sisters were mine I’d toss something bold at the words - like variegated raspberry! Just a crazy thought - they look amazing to date! Maybe you should try stand up comedy .. keep on doing want you do - we love it 😃
Ooh now there’s a colour ☺️
Finally managed to watch your video (seemed fitting today) and you made me laugh so much! David Attenborough move on over!
You brought back all the fun memories from Wales. THERE'S A BUTTON MISSING!!! 😂 I enjoyed your show and tell on your purchases just as much the second time round too.
Sherrie, Sherrie, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? With speckled urns and silver pots, I dont know the difference, but I bet you have lots! ❤🤷♀️
Eeeeh that missing button 🙈🤣🤣🤣
Hi Sherrie, another lovely video, you do make me laugh. So glad you had a good time at the retreats you have been to. I have been to Nimble Thimble, but am yet to make it too Create Nostalgia, maybe this year. GARDEN.
Oh you must go. What a wonderland it is ☺️
I always look forward to your videos. I am now desperate to visit Create Nostalgia and the Nimble Thimble - will just have to try and sneak the credit card out without my husband looking 😉 Maybe I'll send him to the garden 😄
They are a must visit definitely with your credit card. So many goodies ☺️
Loved watching, Take care.
Thank you ☺️
The garden pattern is very pretty, good luck with your 56ct! I can't even stitch on 32ct
I don’t know what I was thinking 🙈🤣
Black, white, charcoal frames, all good, but the lavender/purple would be gorgeous!!
Warp and the weft! Aawww girl, you are my favorite❤😊
Oh, I found a cat chart for you.
I will always remember that❤
I agree, kits are fantastic❣
Warp and the weft- of course! I knew I had it wrong 🙈🤣🤣
Those Barbara Ana Dreaming girls are the bomb! I'm planning to stitch them on a teal fabric.
Absolutely love your videos, especially your stories that are hilarious and always brighten up my day!😂 The highest count I have stitched on is 40 and can’t wait to hear how you get on with 56. You might just inspire me to try higher counts! Enjoy your garden when you can get to it.
I will keep you all informed how painful it’s gonna be 🙈🤣
Yay! You're back! I missed you.
Aw thanks Joann ☺️
Love your videos there so much fun can't wait to be able to sit in the garden and stitch x
Thanks Mandy ☺️
Loved watching your latest video and am looking forward to hearing about your other Retreat experiences next time. Seeing the array of kits and charts by The Drawn Thread prompted me to check if I already owned Moonlight Garden and of course in doing so one of the ones I do have jumped out and into my “must start soon” pile. It’s a kit from The Nimble Thimble - I just love the way Chris prepares them. I’m sure you will love stitching Strawberry Fields for your Dad. I finished it a couple of years ago and loved every stitch. Good luck with the 46 and 56 count fabric 😱
Yes it’s a real treat that Chris kits them up for us. Enjoy stitching Hazel ☺️
Garden hey sherri lovely to see you xx omg the beaver story was brilliant 😂😂 sounds like something I’d do just bought strawberry fields it’s so pretty x and those meltdowns are brutal isn’t it awful lol xx glad your ok great flosstube as always ❤
Aw thanks Tracey and yes brutal is exactly the word 🙈🤣
Absolutely love your videos. Love the Moonlight Garden - hate gardening though! Xx
Thanks so much Kathy ☺️
On those 2 sisters, what if you sewed them together as Liz Matthew’s Spring House is done, then they can be framed together. I like the idea of a charcoal colored ornate frame. She lovely in my head! 😂
Yes I was thinking along those lines for the colour frame. Sewing together is a cool idea ☺️
You had my laughing a lot in this video. I definitely need to stitch the Floral Etchings, wish I could grow flowers like that in my garden!
Was lovely to meet you at the retreat, I was bricking it before I went too but had such a lush time ❤
It was such a fabulous weekend Soph. Can’t wait for the next one 😍
I would love to have an English or French garden. Keep on stitching
Thank you ☺️
I am right there with you ... i'm a shadow to 50 as well (April) and the menopausal meltdown is a THING...
Oh yes sometimes a very very big Thing! 🤣
I love your channel…so refreshing and fun! (I just found it and love it.) Wish you lived next door! ☺️I’d love to stitch the moonlight garden chart but definitely NOT on 56 count!!!😉
Thanks Cheryl ☺️
Fab video as always and I'm creased at all your knowledge of reindeer 😂😂 I'm a bit the same after helping amelia with her homework yesterday I'm your girl if you wanna know anything about garden hedgehogs 😉😉🦔🦔 haha xxx
Oooh can’t wait to meet up and exchange info that is essential in this life 🤣 flipping love hedgehogs 🦔
@justsewsherrie well .... did you know they can swim !!! And can climb !! Xxx
I’m really interested in the meadow roll, hoping to get a live glimpse of it at the Stitch Festival this month, as the CSG website doesn’t really show a good image of it. It’s such a clever idea to display stitching. I have made several of their books and they are such lovely pieces to flip through.
I saw the meadow roll model at Harrogate and it really is beautiful. Hope it’s at stitch festival for you. The books are exquisite too 😍
Ah lovely to catch up with you! I'm starting Spring Quaker in April with my friend Alex if you fancy joining us? Love seeing all your presents - pleased you spoilt yourself. Happy stitching and hope we can get out in the garden soon! xxx
Aw cool Sally. I’ll see where I am at the end of March. Need to desperately get some finishes under my belt 🙈☺️
@@justsewsherrie get stitching then! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😘
Love your channel ❤I’m in the cross stitch guild and love it 🎉 loved the garden stitch
Me too Angela ☺️
Missed you! Glad to have you back! ❤ Love the beaver tale! 😂 I’ve finished the first of the Two Quaker Sisters, but I swapped out the words on both of them . Finished the first one as a bell pull, when the other one gets finished I’ll do the same, & they will hang next to one another.
Ooh what a fab way to finish them Kim ☺️
Hi!
Aw thanks Cindy ☺️
I love to garden along side the bees
Thank you for entering Maggie and I couldn’t agree more ☺️
Another fun update with you. Glad your weekend turned out so well! For trading your Quaker sisters, I think introducing another color would distract from the stitching so I would stay in the same range of neutrals. Just me…but you did ask😉
Thanks Connie, all opinions help ☺️
@@justsewsherrie glad you could decipher that comment! Was supposed to say “framing” not “trading”😂
Belated Happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉. Hoping you had a wonderful day.Be seeing you soon?. Stay safe🤗
Thank you ☺️
I’m struggling to get up to 40 count without doing 56 count 😂. Love the drawn thread but never stitched one, would love the moonlight garden . Thank you for the update x
thank you so much ☺️
I would love to try the moonlight garden.
Thanks for entering Wilma ☺️
Always a joy to see you Sherrie! Your laughter is contagious, and I akways get an out loud laughing with you. Your stories are a highlight for me, a veritable garden of joy. ❤
Aw thanks so much Michele ☺️
Love your update and the shop shout outs, Im travelling from Australia in a week not sure if I will get to any but I might try. Heading to Durham York and Gloucester to see family and friends. Enjoy your channel immensely, Im an auld biddy too! Love the Moonlight Garden pattern!
How fabulous, enjoy your travels over here ☺️
Oh my god the beaver story was hilarious , now we have garden as well as a beaver 😅😅😅😅😅. Great flosstube as usual, keep them coming x
Thanks so much Lorraine ☺️
Really enjoy your videos. I’d love to stitch Moonlight Garden.
Thanks for entering ☺️
Lovely to see you back. We missed you. Oh what a glorious haul of goodies you brought back with you. Looking forward to spring when I can sit outside and stitch in my garden.
Thanks Andrea ☺️
Hi Sherrie! Thank god you’re back I’ve been having withdrawal symptoms here😂 So good to see you again. Thanks for another great video. Love all of your presents and WIPS. you’ve made my day xx
Aw thanks Linda ☺️
Lmao. Great video!!!
Thanks Liz ☺️
❤❤❤😂😂😊😊
Interestingly, Hardanger fabric, or Oslo fabric is not the traditional fabric for Hardanger embroidery..it’s much too coarse. I tied using Hardanger fabric for a cross stitch and threw it out; the lack of threads in the weft and warp mean it doesn’t support the stitches well. I can’t see much use for it really! 😬
That’s really interesting Gina ☺️
Hi Sherrie just wanted to know how did you get on with the magnifying lamps you bought? I need a new one ❤
Hey Angela, thanks for the prompt. The small pure light one isn’t great but the daylight Halo Go is incredible. There were 3 of us on the table in London who had them and although they aren’t cheap I think it’s worth every penny ☺️
Thank you ❤
Hi Sherrie❣️🦉🧵🛎️🤗
Heya ☺️
Where do you purchase your frames?
All over Wilma, I pick them up when I’m out and about and hope something will fit. The ones on here though are from Next ☺️
Only you can turn people into beavers 🦫 😂😂😂 i had to fudge my seasons of the heart spring but you honestly cant tell , so carry on lass. I personally like the lilac thread❤ im doing a Drawn Thread at present, loving the garden ❤
Ah so pleased to hear you fudge too 🙏🏻🤣
Great video Sherrie, I so enjoy my time with you.
