Thanks so much for another great flosstube, or as my other half said, ‘Are you going to watch another sloth?’ Love the finish of the Gingerbread House and the Quaker Snowflakes is gorgeous. I was going to say, just keep on enjoying your stitching and not worry about targets and SALs, but it isn’t ‘just’, the whole point is the joy stitching brings. If that makes sense. Whatever you do I’m sure there will be plenty of content for every episode. 🥰👍🏻

Gingerbread House Pinkeep is just beautiful and I really like the adaptations you made for trim and finishing it. Quaker Snowflakes is stunning, especially on your choice for fabric. Just lovely. Keep doing what you do and don’t be so hard on your self.

You always make me laugh!! Congrats on your finishes!!! Well done!! I have a couple of Nurge hoops, and I do use them. BUT - I'll ONLY use them if my entire design fits inside the hoop and I will NEVER have the hoop fit on top of my stitches; for the same reasons you mentioned. And I have heard horror stories about damage to both stitches and linen. Just not worth it to me, so I stick with my traditional old style hoops for everything else. Till next time. Steph x

What a grand finish and the lacing will go well. So happy that Santa is out of the bin. 2025 is the year of "Doing what I want to do." Being selfish sometimes is a healthy thing. I can see how Floss tube videos can enable one beyond what is good. Doing the little ones on one piece is a good thing. So says the 80 year old from this end of the world. Minnesota is no 6 above zero and it feels like -28. Sending love and support.

Whether you bead at the end or as you go depends on what your stitching it in. The only way to bead as you go and not destroy your beads is on a scroll frame or a hoop big enough to stitch the entire project. If you have to move the hoop or q snap then chances are the beads can be crushed or pulled off. By the looks you will have to move the hoop around so I'd definitely leave beading to the end.

Loved the video as always such a joy to watch. I was wondering if you could put a photo in on your lowrey and light set up, i have one and cant seem to get it right and i am a visual person so a photo would be lovely. Thanks so much Sherrie love your work

I stitched the Fall on the Farm all on one. I guess to my way of thinking, I'd stitch it in the way you want to finish it...the Frosty Forest. If you want a bunch of smalls, do them individually. If you want a wall piece, stitch it on one piece of fabric. Each square is a finish, you know! 😊 Love the Liz Matthews finish. I stitched that one too, also without the words.

Hi Sherrie love the gingerbread house! I have a little story , I live in an apartment ,will there is a older gentleman who takes his walks when I take mine or I'm going to get my mail I talk to everyone say Hi and go on my way. Well at Christmas he came to my apt to let me know that the mail had been delivered, I said thank you to him, and proceeded to get my mail he followed me and walked me back to my apartment. We can put decorations by our doors he said that he thought my decorations were beautiful I said thank you, then he said to me But the lady in side is the most beautiful decoration, I laughed said thank you and said have a good day! The next day I was talking to my neighbor in the hallway and he came out of his door with a lady which turned out to be his wife. I have seen and spoken to her she's very nice, well she doesn't speak to me any more, I don't know if he said something to her about me or if a neighbor said something to her. It is sad that you can't to be friendly and nice anymore! Love you're videos, Have a good week! Nancy in California

I will greatly enjoy joining you in your “loose” 2025. I always stitch what I want, but I only stitch one (or two, tops) things at a time. It makes me very nervous to have many things vying for my attention. Since I only start things I really want to stitch and complete, I’m quite happy in my monogamous stitching world. I do allow myself to kit up many things, however. The call of my kitted projects helps me to achieve finishes more quickly. That said, as another loose woman with my big girl panties, I salute you! Sherrie, you way undersell your skills! Your numbers from last year prove that you get a lot done. And those of us who follow you are not wanting to pressure your production. We want you to be enjoying what you do. Just come on when you have time and catch us up on your life!! That's better than you burning out and leaving FlossTube. And, I vote you do your series on one piece of fabric. If you have lots of littles, what are you going to do with them? Oh yes Sherrie the chap is correct about us being too intelligent to be bored. Even the screen display agreed with him😂! Your reaction to that one was so funny. I don't join in SALs as I don't like having to stitch something on a timescale and generally make gifts when there isn't a finishing date or I stop enjoying it and lose the love which I try and put into each gift. Stash was overwhelming me when I couldn't stitch much due to an injury last year and had to ditch my 2024 plans so I can't justify any spending when I overspent during Covid and it's still waiting for me to use it!

My 2025 goals are to have a rotation of stitching; a Christmas/ winter, 4th of July/summer, Halloween/Thanksgiving and one red thread on the go through out the year. I will also stitch smalls that are in season like Valentine’s Day, Easter and gifts. I feel the need to work on and finish all the patterns I’ve accumulated or live past 100. So Sherrie, keep working on those holiday stitches! We will watch no matter what you decide to stitch! 😘

Sherrie can I ask what count fabric and size did you use for Patchwork Calendar? I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and bought this pattern and threads. Thank you x

Fabulous flosstube! Love your finish on the Stacy Nash needle book. The Winter Quaker is beautiful, love, love it. I still haven't started Winter Rose Manor yet. I have just too many things I'm trying to start and SAL's I want to participate in. Then, I lost about a week of stitching. My hubby shared his sickness with me. We've had several inches of snow, a couple of different times this past week. Love the white stuff. My two little dogs sound like your cats. I should have lots of time to stitch, in the evenings, but with the doggie, it really cuts that time down. I'm still watching your last wip parade. Good luck on the 3 gifts a month.😅 Nashville Market is coming up.

Laughing with you from Dallas, Texas! You and Momma loves you GB are part of my Sunday morning routine! Could not start the day without you! I’m with you about refocusing my stitching for me especially as I have been unable to stitch since November ( pinched a nerve in my neck). I was going to try 25 in 25 because every one is doing that but don’t think that is possible so I’m going to live vicariously through you and the other floss tubers and just be happy with what I get done…. Keep up the stories and sewing!

Hi Sherrie! I think your finishing skills are outstanding! I love the sewing book and the special touches you added. Congrats on the finishing of the Liz Matthews winter Quaker piece. I think I will adopt your purchasing restrictions in that I will be more intentional with my purchases and not buy every little pattern that catches my fancy. I already have way more than I could possibly stitch in a lifetime. 😉❤️
