Hope your back gets better soon 😊 Great story with the wheelie bin. We use one in our garden too for grass cuttings etc, easier to take them down the back (large overgrown garden)😂😂 Need to purchase Christmas rules, it looks great!

Watch they're not just fly-tipping ! Need to see a Waste Removal Licence. I stitch everything with 1 thread (normally only stitch on 36 count upwards). Just think, you've halved your thread cost by 50% !!! To think, many stitchers are looking for a vintage/antique look ... I like my stitches not to look over-stuffed and prefer a more 'threadbare' look. Loved the video, thank you.

My sincere condolences to her and family. Hope your back gets to feeling better. I've had 5 back surgeries between 2014-2019. Plus, a neck surgery last Nov. See you next week. Happy stitching.

Oh my goodness, Sherrie, what have you done to your back babe??? You poor luv you must be in a bit of pain!! Slow stretches ok, heat pack it and slowly slowly ok!!! Don’t forget to put deep heat on it it and use your pillow to elevate your knees ok. Loved all your stitching, so bloody gorgeous, the colours are to die for and the stitching that you have done is just os very lovely. Bellatrix is in time out at the moment, I have to figure out how to get the pattern on to mark up so I can keep track of what I am doing!!! Am still working on Rackstraw ridge but havent picked that up for a few weeks as I too have a few health issues going and ended up having day surgery last Friday - I am fine, they found nothing bad so that is a blessing in itself. Please take care, take it slowly, dont rush it and dont lift anything heavy please, until next week, take care of yourself stay well and safe 💋 💋

Hahah my husband said the same to me, I will use the chain saw, not you. It wasn’t even his big one was the one that is like huge loopers with a small chain saw but yea there would go a leg or foot as be too heavy for me. Pouring rain here today, an actual rain warning. Our compost bin! Lol well the floss is beautiful somsure you will use them for other projects. Mine 32 1 or 2 threads depends on colour of the fabric. But yes 1 thread lays better. Ohhh Sherrie enabled me, that Autumn notes I have never seen, so added to my 123 wish list and the other 3 seasons! Lol now want the brenda gervais pumpkins. Her patterns are hard to get in Canada and shipping from the states is $$plus the exchange. Sigh oh isn’t that nature one beautiful! Yes, I also am unable to find any garden gate. I had heard you can mix DMC 3021 and 3787, but I’m unsure. Do you think it would be ok or should I wait? I’ve only gotten back into stitching for the past year after about a 30 year break, so I don’t feel very confident yet.

Hot on my tail with 38 new starts! You know me too - I only stitch with one strand of thread now. It is rare I stitch on 32 count but when I do its 1 over 2. Happy stitching you lovely lady xx

As I’m a bit of a numpty, can you explain about the Stacy Nash and the Union Flag you mentioned? I like all the heritage patriotic things but not that most of it is American and I’ve been looking for English/UK things. I have patterns with Stars and Stripes and I intend to change them to the Union Flag but I didn’t quite understand what you were on about with Stacy stuff. 🫣😬 Amo, in the South South, though SW apparently, Dorset where everything above the M4 is oop North! 😂

The Scots would get upset if we called it North England 😂😂😂. No … but NW and NE are so different, you have to split them and not call them the North. Except I was bought up that anything north of Watford Gap was North.

Maybe that's why I've never taken to 32 count stitching - my patterns always called for 2 threads. I'll try 1 thread and see what happens! Thank you for always brightening my weekend! I hope your back mends quickly (though I have to say, Sherrie on drugs is kinda fun!).

Prayers for your back. I have debilitating arthritis throughout my body so I definitely understand pain. Hope you feel better soon. What a funny story. We seen a young boy tie a dollar general cart to his bicycle and pulling it around picking up cans and scrap. Got to love some one with enough gumption to try hard and do whatever they need. I've still to ff my Strawberry Faire but I didn't find it an easy stitch for all its small size! I am the same…I don’t like 32 count with two threads so I use 1 and it just looks fine. Your wheelie bin story reminded me of when I was teaching years ago between two sites. At the end of the year we had to move the classroom contents including an old fashioned blackboard on wheels (yes, it was not this millenium!). I was in my first year of teaching when we did everything for ourselves. Now perhaps I should have chosen a different class… inner city lads aged 14. The two sites had a steep slope between them. I looked out of the window as I was leaving carrying some bags with a sensible group to see the boys pushing/wheeling the blackboard. I saw them stop at the top of the slope…and I knew. They pushed it and we watched the blackboard set off, pick up speed and hurtle down…towards a Deputy Head who had just emerged to “supervise”. Panic set in and the boys sprinted off after the blackboard. They seemed to arrive together in a huge mound of legs and laughter! Another great Flosstube Sherrie!

Thank you, Sherrie, for making us smile. You paid a lovely tribute to viewer Val’s son. My heart goes out to her and her family. I simply can’t imagine what she’s going through. In happier thoughts, your fully finishes were beautiful. The frame you have for the silhouettes is really perfect. I don’t know how you manage so much stitching in two weeks. I’m mostly retired and I don’t stitch nearly that much. I love seeing all your projects.

Great WIP parade! Loved seeing all your projects. I have sooo many projects kitted, now just need the time to work on them. Like many, I wanna stitch all the things. LOL! Enjoyed seeing your kittie. It made me laugh. Typical cat behavior. The glad tidings chart is on my wishlist. So pretty. I would keep working on your Christmas sampler with the threads you picked. You’ve made thread changes in other projects, so this wouldn’t be much different. Just my opinion. I think it looks great as is. Stitch on!
