Titans are 100% the bad guys and if you are ever in doubt check out this collosal construct from the beta they planted in order to wipe out their own in case they start getting free will. They created mechanisms to destroy the planet, they ripped out a world tree the one in Khaz'Algar, they tried to wipe out their own servants and most interestingly they might have placed the entire world soul of Azeroth into a giant prison as can be seen from the logos. It has been confirmed that they are going to be coming in person and they are definitely not coming to save us. Soon we will learn what really happened between the pantheon and Sargeras, how they might have imprisoned our world and what they really are.

What's gonna happen? Well, i can't be sure, but i know the Horde will cause a war over selfish, petty, and deranged reasons like clockwork. The original Horde, the Doomhammer Horde, the Grommash Horde, the Sylvanas incident. One good leader and everyone forgives every bloodthiry attempt at tyranny, past and future.
People say, "You're too hard on them", am I though? How many times do you have to touch a fire before you figure out it's hot? And those shameless elves! Just once in ten thousand years, could you deal with some unpleasantness while we fight the undead to save the places you lost? "Do they think we're slaves? He called me long ears! Let's join their arch enemy!". Those elves fit right in with...the orcs
And people still talk about the Defias brotherhood and the Alliance as if it's in any way comparable. But what Alliance leader is in any way similar to Gul'dan, Doomhammer(who they still idolize), Grommash, or Sylvanas?

TLDR: not so fast labeling Titans good or evil, plus unpopular opinion...
    __________
I pretty much think that hating and revolting against the Titans is exactly what the Void, or who the bad guys might be, wants. I believe that people who spread hate towards the Titans are projecting daddy issues, similar to how revolutionary spirit manifests in real life. I could argue for hours on that, but I'll just lay a few points here.
The incident involving Aman'Thul and the world tree has not yet been confirmed as a matter of fact; the account comes from a character's diary, whose words may not necessarily state the truth.
Additionally, Aman'Thul has always been portrayed as the wise one among the Pantheon. Unless it is unequivocally proven otherwise (which it hasn't been, at least not entirely, i.e., that the Titans are evil), or fully demonstrated that we have been lied all along so far, we then must give credit to such words, and take Aman'Thul and his judgements for wise. If he's wise, then he has reasons that the unwise and, further, those who are his mere creations, can't be entirely grasped.
We must also not forget about the First Ones, who are said to be even more powerful or even prior to the Titans, beings the nature of which might even exceed or transcend the cosmological chart. That's stated on a dialogue from Odin, I don't remember exactly the words or the circumstances, since I speak from memory, but it was said something like this, that the mortals could not know about the First Ones and the Titans should keep it a secret from them, because they would not comprehend. And what's so bad about it? Isn't it so in real life? Or who would dare to proclaim to know all the secrets and mysteries about the world, the universe and the afterlife? If there is a God all-powerful and all-knowing, of course creatures of his would never be able to comprehend everything about him, unless he himself revelead it to them. That's some plain logical, simple and common sense stuff.
Moreover, as to Algalon, his role was not to exterminate from Azeroth the whole life, as life, but the life as corrupted, that is to say, zombie-like or already destroyed (what amounts to the same as no-life) by Void or who it could be. I make this distinction, because there had been inception of order corruption, like the own Earthen becoming our Dwarfs. But such an inception does not count as a proper corruption, proving that the very closeness of enaninc culture to the Titans; what else might prove it is also the noctielfic culture, whose very name, the Kaldorei, was given in titan language, meaning "Children of the Stars"; lexical morpheme also composing the very western azerothian land, Kalimdor, which once used to name the whole pangean land before the Well's sundering. And that's why Algalon had never wiped off beings like Humans or even Protodrakes (whose nature is elemental-like).
Everyone against the Titans will never sound sane enough to me. Yet, I do not refuse, but rather recognise, some of their errors and lies, and that can be done (and here comes the actual retcon) because they are not gods, and hence not perfect. I'll be the first one on changing my mind whenever anything be explicitly, openly, officially, evidently and clearly revelead and exposed.
I also hold this opinion because of what Metzen said at the announcement of TWW, that in The Last Titan, the third expansion of the World Soul Saga, "you will uncover a vast conspiracy, one that stretches around the history of the world, one that will challenge everything you think you know about the Titans, their intentions and the true nature of Azeroth itself" (ipsis litteris). Well, we are told about a conspiracy, and that leads me to think on the defeat of them by Sargeras, which has always sounded to me very odd, because, although Sargeras is wholesome powerful, he was then outnumbered by others of his own nature, standing beside them the second one in power, Aggramar; it had never felt right to me. Anyways, as to the things we know concerning the titans, they are refered by the very creator of this entire universe as "things that WE THINK we know", that is to say, both what we know about them before the whole Dragonflight controversy (back when we were inclined to see them as good guys) and after it (as now we're inclined to see them as bad guys). I'm no Nietzschean, nor I propose any sort of beyond good and evil interpretation of the lore, but it seems to me at least that we have not enough reasons to label Titans evil, although not everything points out to some inherent goodness...
The most certain and evident thing all within the lore is that we, as Azeroth children, know very little, there is a lot to uncover, and it seems even a further bit we are forbidden or unable to comprehend.

Good and evil are just man made concepts, not something a Titan, Eternal One, or Void Lord would really care about. The Eternal Ones weren't against Zovaal because he was evil, but because he disrupted their purpose and goal. If the Titans do become an enemy, it will be because we went against their goal of an ordered cosmos, not because they're evil.

This is not happening only in Warcraft. ALL entertainment from games, movies, series have been infected with these type of writers that for the "wow effect" of the audiences they know only to make this trope: Good guys were actually bad guys and viceversa, the bad guys were actually misunderstood and all that. MAYBE in the concept of all cosmical forces and that Titans were not actually the good guys, but were clearly not bad guys either. With how I understand it, they were on the level of fighting the force of Chaos, so they were Order, they never had feelings or align themselves to be good or evil, they just were and tried to do their Order stuff. But to be evil just for the sake of changing the lore and well established universe is bad writting and is happening all over with these new wave writers. Disney is doing right now with their latest show Acolyte, they did it before with Maleficent and Cruella. These new wave writers don't know other things to subvert expectations with the audiences. Only this trope of changing the good guys into bad guys and viceversa.

Warcraft cosmology reached its peak of stupidity when Blizzard started describing cosmic forces and making them the focal point of the story. For example: "order" should not be a cosmic force but their framework (After all, the word "cosmos" NECESSARILY implies the existence of an overarchibg order). This categorical error creates irresolvable contradictions in the lore: if the titans do not represent cosmic order but rather their own idea of order, they should not be considered part of a cosmic force. And if there is no Order outside them, there is no point in talking about cosmic balance or even value.

It truly is a shitty lore offered - perhaps originally, perhaps made worse by post-Metzan days, and perhaps this is the best they can offer in replacement fix-it mode. IDK which, but you are right that its actually bad and wholly contradictory. It is what happens when people that aren't writers are forced into such a role.

I've gotta say I hate this idea. I'm so tired of the "really secretly evil all along" cliche. The titans in the past weren't shown as callous, indifferent, or cruel. Now, after Azerothian mortals saved them and allowed them to defeat their rogue brother they're bad? Yeah, I hope not.

It depends on your perspective, but the Titans are not like parents but rather gods. It's similar to how an artist might tear up a drawing they don't like. From the perspective of a Titan, inhabitants of Azeroth are simply creations not fulfilling their intended purpose. Sentience also depends on definition, to the titans, we may not be sentient but just an advanced creation. If AI becomes sentient some day, and it decides to do something contrary to its intended program, I am sure we will erase or reboot the system

The devs have succeeded. WoW cosmology is so grey now that it lacks any exciting pigmentation at all.
"The avowed protectors of Azeroth and creators of countless defensive measures intended to preserve life? GOTCHA! THEY'RE ACTUALLY EVIL!"

@@snappycenter7863 Like I understand the desire to give depth to factions, but the cosmology should be untouched. Let good be good, and bad be bad. It honestly becomes a little hard to remain immersed when you INVADE HEAVEN AND KILL THE ANGELIC POWERS THAT MANAGE YOUR JUDGEMENT. It gives you too much power. Also, the fixation of making everyone "the playthings of the deities" is a tired trope that i'm sick of seeing. There's just no virtue left besides "le epique indomitable human spirit." There's no mysterious, unseen great power that wants to see you succeed out of the gentleness of its heart, and its sad to me. Just having an order of Paladins be good and a coven of Warlocks be evil is such a rare thing nowadays that honestly its beginning to be an impressive sight in itself when it is so straightforward.
They had a wonderful thing going with the Scarlet Crusade with them being this originally well-meaning group that wanted to reclaim their home, clinging to their hope in the light, later being corrupted into insane zealots from years of isolation and demonic influence (that should honestly have their redemption arc already now that the demon controlling their faction is DEAD SINCE CLASSIC), and the Horde itself is a brilliant faction (besides undead, they can get stuffed) that should honestly go back to the more Garrosh-styled politics of the more-shamanistic class of society pushing for negotiation vs. the Warrior caste demanding revenge and victory the old-fashioned way.
Azeroth itself should be up-sized and have lore locations revisited. AZEROTH should be the focal point of the setting. Draenor/Outland gets a pass because its literally linked by a giant evil portal, but the other places are insane to me, we should feel puny in a massive world, not like we can walk into heaven and murder deities.
