If I think about some of my favorite "Depth of ATTITUDE" bands...Disturbed, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin... it's not difficult... they're all FAMOUS for what I call that badass "BACKstory..." you guys know it...that undertone...that gives each song cohesion...it's a REQUIRED element...to me, for a song to be melodic and understandable/relatable!...but the backstory in THIS band is BARELY fucking conTROLLable...so WANTING to be unrestrained to flaunt it's SWAGGER...and it's recognizable...cuz when it HAPPENS...I almost DROP....and I find myself saying "GodDAMN that's MEAN!" Makes me feel every bit of humility and pride and effervescence of LIFE my body can muster...and I SOAR! SO...badASSERY in that BACKstory...um yeah.
