I notice Leo likes to play characters that are least affected by match ups.
His combo game is pretty much the same no matter who he fights with the exception of one or two characters.

I was thinking just abput the same. Ignoring the character itself, Byleth's design in ultimate is so well done, it fits perfectly into the game, which is not very common compared to its DLC peers.

It hurts me to see matches from Port Priority after the racism situation that happened at PP7 this year. That is a big stain on the name of that event

also its not the fastest downsmash in the game, in most scenarios it's certainly possible to react to it.

I feel like he just conditions his opponents to shield most of his neutral game options so when he stabs em once he throws out the down smash.

It's a shieldbreaker it comes out on the same frame as Lucinas and does about the same shield damage
