    1. Theft.
    2. Bad economy means people buying less snacks and cigs.
    3. Tolerance for loitering and vagrancy.

Bad economy in Vegas lol SMH.You apparently are not researching the latest statistics. Average room rate on the Strip $202, Record number of tourist visits in 2023 ( 48 million) and $13.5 billion in revenues. 2024 has been even better than 2023 so bad economy that's laughable. Neveda's unemployment rate 5.2% and Vegas as of July 2024 6.7% which includes chronic unemployment individuals driving rates higher

did you even read the official statement from their holding company or just trying to play politics with it, nowhere did they mention theft or bad economy shift it consumer spending habits which yes can include cigs (and that's a good thing btw) and rising costs which is supply chain. there are also even more convenient ways to get stuff right to your door now (amazon prime)than decades ago. they said nothing about theft or vagrants or bad economy in general this is the same thing mcdonalds went through a while back

7-11 says that they will be selling more products "made by 7-11", but that's not how house brands actually work. Those goods are made by suppliers who specialize in generic goods, and who slap on whatever label the big chains ask for. It's common that the house brands from multiple big chains will actually be exactly the same products, from exactly the same supplier. Expect that to be the case with any 7-11 branded products you see in the future.

When you have 9000 stores, you are competing with yourself! 7-Elevens are dying in Connecticut, because #1 they don't sell gas, while most of their competitors do, and #2 they have a lot of old and dilapidated stores that they refuse to remodel into newer and more modern units. Their stores are few and far between, unlike Los Angeles, where they are on about every third block. 7-Eleven is very cheap, and will not go on a remodel spree. Makes it look like the company doesn't care (which they don't). Of course having prices that are out of whack with reality doesn't help. I realize convenience stores are expensive, but when you have that many stores they should be able to leverage better cost from their vendors. Also, theft, lower sales due to the economy, and loitering issues. Someone at the top really needs to get their head out of their butt.
