That was clutch. Good game. I was worried when Steven declared attackers he would not have enough defenders to stop the incoming pounding he was about to receive. This was a very close game. Very exciting guys. Thank you for sharing.
My blister packs from your starter bundle had TWO iconic rares in them. They look wild good and no pringling for the foils so far. I wish magic could figure their crap out for pringling foils. This game looks great, i cant wait to play with my friends hopefully this thursday.
is "Mr Aesop's Pawshop" really talking about value in discarding bad(and good) cards for die re-rolls and resources? oh, the irony... 🤣 suchba good looking game. seemingly solid mechanics. easy gameplay, with some good, strategic depth once you're in. great playthrough and explanations!!
What if I told you that machinas trigger isn’t a replacement effect and it deals the 6 dmg split to up to two clash cards in addition to his 6 power attack? 😅
Hi! nice 3 videos on Alpha Clash, i liked all 3, and the game seem to be nice, but do you think it will survive the long run. And if you had to choose between alpha clash and Universus (My hero academia and cowboy beebop/trigun next), as they are 2 VS fighting games, for investinf time and money wich will be your favorite? both?
I think we're witnessing a dramatic shift in collectible games that hasn't really been appreciated. The old "this needs to catch on massively at retail" isn't practical for 99% of games and also isn't needed anymore. With Kickstarter and direct sales, as well as bigger, less frequent events instead of weekly events, the ability for indie games to sustain and even thrive is more accessible than ever. Alpha Clash will never rival Magic, Pokemon, YGO, etc. for audience size, but if you are into the story, characters, system, etc and you can find even one other person who shares that interest, you're set. Buy a box or two of each new set, get together and play some games, enjoy it. There's just so many people now who have access; the local play space isn't necessary for success (even though it definitely helps). Alpha Clash is especially well positioned for this environment because they're actually telling an unknown story. The game is a way to expand that story and reveal new plot twists and characters instead of just representing a more static piece of work (like Cowboy Bebop). That's also a challenge because you have to create a new fandom entirely instead of just capitalizing on existing fans (as in Universus). So ultimately, it all depends on the framing and how you see the future of collectible games. There's so many games that need a few thousand players in the world to sustain and tell their story. I don't think Alpha Clash will have an issue finding this community, and may well grow much bigger than minimum viable. -Steven

Looks like a cool game... love the vibrant colors, makes the cards look more alive😊
Good Addition to the TC family! Great video as always - Jonathan is a rock star on the video presentation!
I'm loving the return to these shorter form videos

Enjoyed this one. Just got a few of the clash decks from you guys and looking forward to trying it out.
Another fantastic video. Y’all are incredible. Hope to visit the new store one day.
Can't wait! Thanks for being here.
Got my 4 subs in, and even though I already have my playset of torque, I am not missing that promo lol
just received the 2 player starter and some packs in the mail look out BOOM BOOM!
Love it! Thanks for picking that up!
Still enjoying playing this game
Would love to see more of this

It’s so relatable when other players show you that you’ve been nerfing yourself when you play your deck in TCGs.
Haha, is there any other way?
Damn, Alpha clash is completely sold out at distribution level and is getting ready for the next set coming in november 😊🤟

@@PhilReotardo Yes, and not only that, you can target your own Torque 1 drop to give it +6/+6. Zach should have been dead 6 ways from sunday.
@@PhilReotardo yep, so best line would be to apply enough to push through a clash buff, then the rest on torque to smash magnate in the nads
@@PhilReotardo worth the wait my friend!
Zach didn't even know how dead he was.
@@teamcovenant😂
Am I not understanding how Machina works? Shouldn't he be able to just snipe something when he attacks? Why would you ever not use that ability?
You're understanding him correctly. He's a buff boi
He can also effectively swing for 12 into a tapped guy if you want
Steven definitely thought it was a replacement effect because the last thing you should do in card games is read the cards.
Zach’s Beefy Boys merch, please!
Let's gooooooo
Summed up my feelings perfectly
Letsss gooooooooo!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
