An important thing to note: Grey Stickman(Otherwise known as Victim) isn't the "Good Guy". That might be obvious but let me explain. Victim is on this path because Alan Becker(represented by the Mouse Cursor) basically tortured and played with Victim. What do we see Victim doing to The Chosen One(Black Stickman)? Playing with him, practically torturing him and dwindling his hope. At any moment, he could've started the conversation with "Hey, you know where to find Alan?" by taking a photo of the mouse which he CLEARLY HAD ON HIM and showing it to The Chosen One. But no, he went straight to the violent option. So there's 2 explanations. 1: He thought that some roughening up was needed beforehand to get The Chosen One to talk. Possible, but it isn't likely. 2: He enjoys it. Victim is causing pain for the sake of causing it. He's sadistic. His want for revenge has caused him to shatter every mirror, instead of considering his actions he's grown so desperate to get back at Alan Becker that he's starting to become- or has become- the thing that he hated in the first place. Victim, despite his name, is no victim now. Characters have sought revenge, but in my mind they have never gone so far as to be sadistic. This is sadism, pure and simple. It isn't towards Alan Becker, or even someone working FOR Alan Becker, or whatever. It's someone who simply knows information, and that excuse is all Victim needs.
If you remember AVA 1, he was got defeated by The Animator. So he decided to trying to find The Animator and take revenge on him for putting him in his computer.
