Be it Trinidad, Fiji , Suriname or Guyana it seems they have the same bad habit of drinking while wedding is going on … that one bad habit didn’t change during the years …
I would love to know where this wedding was held in Fiji (from the comments it looks like Solovi, Nadi) and if anyone can give me the name of the lokgeet singer, she was soo good. Please🙏🙏🙏
let me correct this cameraman, its never done in Indian way, if Indian way you need Horse not tractor, LOL, you must have being ready wrong Indian culture book, anyway you don't seen talking in Hindi anyway???? don't fool world, its just better for you
We also have horse n dolly weddings but the tractor signifies out tie with our farming background in Fiji. The Indian were taken to Fiji to do farming n agriculture.
You don't fool yourself. Horses are never used in Fiji. Horses are used in India to signify Princely Status. In India When The Bridegroom arrives on a horse he is depicted as a Prince. This came from India's History where there were many Princely States in India. This is Fiji. Cars are used for transport in weddings. Here they are using a Tractor to depict farming background. They doing something different. Tractor is a vehicle like a car also. You as an Indian instead of enquiring and learning about Fiji Indian life style are criticising . You must learn Indian culture from different parts of the world. Indian Cultural ceremonies in different countries are basically the same. i.e. Indian origin. However some different aspects are practised due the host countries culture and tradition. You learn about Indian cultural practices in different countries. That will be better for you. At least you won't make a fool of yourself. Does it matter if he speaks English. ?
I know what kind of person you are. ? You are a person whom foreign Indians bugs. When you see all these kinda Indian ceremonies, it bugs you to your core. Learn don't fool yourself.
