Hi Jenna, as always great job. I enjoyed this lesson from beginning up to end, because I've never been into learning English for academic purposes but how to perform in daily situations in a casual environment. However, I've been doing a lot of thinking about this topic lately. I imagine myself in a university being asked to write an essay or maybe in a job interview taking a skills-set test and just getting stuck with no idea how to start off. I'm really frightened about that, sometimes it pops up in my nightmares 😁😁😁😅😅😅
Thanks for sharing, Eusebio! English for academic purposes sounds scary, but once you get used to it, it can actually be quite fun and interesting. Many of my students think that they cannot do it, but after they learn the basics of how to read and write for school, they do great! Academic English is my specialty, so I hope you won't mind seeing more videos like this one. 😁
