    You have NO IDEA how much you helped me and my fiance! I just want to take the time to thank you. I've been looking for a gaming pc that can render with vray at the fastest speeds due to my career. Everywhere I've looked, NO ONE has broken down every aspect of a pc. You are HIGHLY easy to understand and are able to help someone like me who does NOT understand tech. Not only did you help me understand what PC i want/need, you also have helped me learn some "tech language" along the way so now i actually know what im talking about and looking for. I have looked all over the internet and in the real world to have someone to help me understand what i need in my pc and what pc i should be looking at. NO ONE helped me so far until i came across your videos.
    Thank you SO MUCH!

  • @dan.nathan

    Fantastic reviews Justin, I spent the past week going through almost all of your high-end gaming rigs as I'm in the market for one. However, I'm having a hard time deciding and was hoping you could help. I really like the Vengeance i7400 - but the 240mm water-cooling on a 13900K concerns me a bit. I really don't want a noisy machine and for that reason I was considering the a7300 instead. At my age, I don't really care too much about flashy coolers, so the Corsair case for the abovementioned PCs appeal the most to me. I could stretch my budget to the i8100, but seems like the extra 2GB SSD, larger case and motherboard isn't quite worth the $800 extra.
    Do you have experience with Origin PCs? They claim their Corsair 5000X Case can support the iCUE H150 360mm system. With almost identical components, their price is around $4K. My max is $5K, and even though I have plenty of experience building PCs (I did this for a living about 20 years ago for a couple of years), I prefer a prebuilt this time around since I don't have the capacity to troubleshoot individual components if something fails. Can you help me out? Thanks for all you do!

      @innovativeadvertising6463 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I understand your concerns about noisy machines. If you're considering the Corsair Vengeance i7400 but worried about the water-cooling system, you might want to try the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a compact and versatile cleaning tool that can help you maintain a spotless environment, including your desktop. It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, allowing you to keep your gaming rig clean and dust-free. Plus, it's reasonably priced compared to other brands. Check it out!

    Love your channel Justin! Thanks for your great reviews. Just got mine. Dominator memory is now Vengeance. PNY is now Vuerto (no RGB no overclock). Not huge deal but definite bait and switch. Had I known I would probably go with something else as there are a lot of great choices at this price. Called Corsair about this and was treated like a spoiled child. Even told me if I did not like the 4090 I was free to buy another. Yeah OK... Just letting you know before you buy. Pretty disappointing. They even changed the memory advertisement to vengeance after I ordered and would not give me the dominator. Kinda like ordering a Corvette and getting a Camaro.
    edit: They reconsidered and decided to give me the dominator memory after determining what I said was correct after blowing me off initially. I actually decided it's not worth the effort.

I have it set up as a desktop and I run everything on Mac. But I understand Fais him doesn’t work well with Mack. how do I need the 4090 do I need 64 gigabytes of RAM or can I get away with 32? Thanks

      @JustinTechTips  ปีที่แล้ว

      @joeglennaz Hey Joe, if it were any other game other than Microsoft Flight Sim I would say there is no way you would ever need more than 32GB but some environments at Ultra settings can actually get close to that 30GB. And then with background apps, you've already used up all your RAM. Do you plan to crank up all your texture resolutions and settings to Ultra all the time? MFS seems to use everything you give it

    I’d love to find an average cost/benefit analysis of that Best Buy insurance plan for $200 a year … Out of 1000 customers, I wonder how many people actually end up saving money with those plans?
    Maybe I’ve been lucky, but out of all the thousands of dollars I’ve spent there in my lifetime, I can’t recall anything that failed after manufacturers warranty ended but before Best Buy’s insurance coverage would have run out. $4,000 bucks for 2 decades of coverage just feels like money down the drain, unless you’re spending that much on hardware every two or three years and are very unlucky.
    With only a couple exceptions, most hardware I’ve purchased in my adult life is still in working order - only lost one amp after 6 years and a cheap SUB after 4. Never even had a console die, and still own every one going back to PS2.

      I have a corsair one with gtx 1080 for the past 5 years - it runs great across all big ticket games I played, the latest being cyberpunk 2077, which gave me 0 issues during launch save for some fps drops. @Adam Dudley I wouldn't worry about that. I just went and read those reviews. I find the one about "getting a GPU worth "half" of the FE version in the picture" to be hard to believe. It's hard to judge things based off of Best Buy reviews unless there are hundreds of reviews. The other review was complaining about not being able to connect to a monitor and it looks like from the response that it's getting replaced for him. That happens in a few cases with every prebuilt brand. Luckily both Best Buy and Corsair have great return policies if you do have an issue though. Even after the return window though, you'll be fine with Corsair's double than average 2 year warranty.

      Yeah 4090 FEs are in really low supply it seems like. 4080 FEs are more readily available. I did get an FE 4090 with the Corsair Vengeance a7300 that I reviewed. Most of the Corsair PCs I've got have had FEs in the past. But I'm also one of the first to order them

      Ehhh I got lucky with a ASUS tuf which I'm VERY happy with. Because the metal shell just looks fucking amazing. But I agree in a way I wouldn't want any others besides the founders edition or the Asus tuf. Especially the palit rock one with a level because that shits ugly .
      I was definitely one of the first or if not the first to place an order for the i7400. I was browsing Corsair prebuilts and refreshed and the listing just appeared and I placed an order instantly lmao... Surprised I didn't get a founders considering that.

    • @dohspc
      @dohspc ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah apparently corsair only sent out ones with the 4090 founders right when the i7400 was just released per reports in a reddit thread. It’s the same with the asus tuf because that’s a more in demand card so you got lucky. The worst card they put in some of these builds early on in my opinion is the green colored 51RISC Cybertank Maximus 4090 that has levels in it and is very ugly.
      The good news is Nvidia stared finally selling the 4090 founders on their website recently so I got one and took out the zotac I got. Sold the zotac to someone already at a discount because honestly it’s not a card in demand and is kind of ugly in my opinion. Cost me prob 300 more but I got the card I wanted in the i7400 lol. Maybe corsair will start using the founders since they are more available now.
